A place to sleep
Steve Dec 15, 2009
Wife noticed hair on the bed pillows when we got in, so don't feel they were changed from last people. I found gum stuck to ... the shower head. Sheets had cigarette burns marks on them, 2nd day sheets where not changed at all. TV worked okay, no in room frig, was a place to sleep but won't be back. Got home & left something in the room, emailed to offer to pay to have it shipped but no response. The breakfast was limited, gallon milk was in the frig for cereal or coffee but had expired. We still had fun with friends anyway.

moderatly price, centrally located
Texas Traveler Nov 28, 2009
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large. The motel is older and shows some wear, but it seemed clean, quiet ... and reasonably priced. There was a hot breakfast - scrambled eggs, sausage biscuits, toast and waffles - as well as pastries, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea.

Very Good Stay
Natalie Oct 22, 2009
I really enjoyed my stay. I felt very safe, the owner or manager was always walking the grounds and that made feel very ... comfortable. It wasn't far from the river and there are many places to go dine that are just down the street, even a nice Italian Restaurant in the parking lot. Over all I was very pleased with my stay.

Not So Good...
AirForce_Pete Jun 29, 2009
I will just go with the pros and cons of this stay... Pros: Very friendly service, larger than normal free breakfast, good ... restaurant across the parking lot. Cons: Cockroach in the tub the 3rd night we stayed, hot tub was broken, the A/C barely worked the whole time, the free internet went out more than 3 times, very noisy street, the dryer in the laundry room ate and destroyed 3 items of our clothes, couldnt find my Orbitz check-in information when we arrived...and no clock in the room?!

Exceptionally helpfull staff
Gary Dec 7, 2008
The manager and staff at the Americas Best Value Inn, San Angelo, Texas were the most helpful I have ever seen. From keeping ... the food fresh at the berakfast bar to helping a stranded moterist by offering hot coffie, food, and a place out of the cold to wait as their car was repaired, this is the best staff I have encountered in a long time. The rooms were clean, quiet, and a real value for the price.

Filthy
Terri Aug 24, 2008
The manager was very friendly and helpful especially when I had a scheduling problem. That was the only positive. The room ... looked like a dirty cheap hotel throw back from the sixties. For the first time in my life I did not let my bare feet touch any where in that room.Although it is a non-smoking motel, it's obvious that it hasn't always been the case. The dark purle polka-dot carpet , probably there since the first day that motel was open wreaked of smoke. I went to Wal-Mart and got a can of lysol, but that helped very little.

Room was not very clean. ...

Room was not very clean. some of the cloth furniture was visably stained, carpet appeared dirty. Shower head didn't function ... properly. Little water came out of it. I would never stay here again. Only plus to the room was the location.
