When we checked into the hotel, we had made reservations for two adults, we had some additional people come and when asking ... for a roll away bed, we were told they were not an option and there was nothing they could do about it. We went up to our room, and walked which seemed like a mile from the elevator to our room. Our doors would not stay shut and one of the girls had someone walk into the room while in the shower. The following morning at around 6:30 a.m. there were children running up and down the hall way screaming. We went down to let the front desk know and ask for towels we were told we would need to wait until 8:30 a.m. when they had towels available. If you have guests in a hotel, plan ahead and have towels ready. In the future I will not stay with the Casablanca; I will stay at the Virgin Rive or move onto to Las Vegas. I hope you take this information into consideration before offering this hotel as a "nice" place to stay.

We only stayed one night, so we didn't use any of the amenities. We thought the beds were way overdue for new mattresses - ... no support and we both woke up back aches. Also, the water pressure in the showerhead was so low I couldn't get the shampoo out of my hair (which is short. However, is was handy having the Starbucks in the lobby

Nice stay
Utah Oenophile Sep 14, 2009
Nice hotel, equivalent to a smallish mid-range Vegas casino. We spent one night for a wine tasting event which was very well ... run and well worth the money. Room was clean and adequate, though I wish they offered some rooms with a king bed instead of two queens. Meals at the Purple Fez are good and quite reasonable.

Traveled through Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, & Utah for 6 days. Very rural areas, but Casa Blanca provided a good atmosphere ... for relaxing, dining, and resting. Area is quiet compared to Las Vegas. Mostly a retirement community. Tried to see a movie after 9pm and found the theater was closed. Hotel was clean and efficient. I would recommend my parents visit but under 40 might be bored.

Only stopped taveling through the desert, not a destination, Check-in was quick but I was not given a map or any materials ... regarding hotel policies or hours (like what time the pool and buffet closes, etc.) When I called the front desk and started asking quetions she said there should be more info in the rooms (there wasn't) she blindly transferred me to someone who had no clue about what my concerns were. I had to go to the front desk again to get a map. It was a friday night and the parking lot was full. There was only one way to get to the hotel tower and that was through the front desk. we had to walk completely around the entire complex to get to the elevator. Mayge they are encouraging you to use the bell desk but you shouldnt have to if you want to save $! The room was great except for the big gap under the room door letting lots of light through... it was like the bathroom light was on. The arcade across from the restaurant had 7 games in it, very small (large walkin closet) must be a way to entertain kids while grownups play>

If you can't park close, you will either need to use the bell desk or walk 1000+ yards to be to your room.

When we arrived, we were not on the reservation list - which was very discouraging after a long day of travel. The hotel ... found a room for us on a very busy day - which we appreciated. But the whole situation made us hesitant to go with Orbitz again. We want to be able to rely on reservations, and not feel like we will have to scramble for alternatives at the last minute.
