What we were expecting-No surprises

The staff was very friendly, and the facility was clean and well kept. There were no surprises with our reservation or our ... room. It was just what we were anticipating. The continental breakfast was good and the location was great.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times as my daughter goes to college at York College. The beds have always been VERY ... comfortable. The rooms clean. The staff very friendly. The rooms are good size. I would stay here again most definitely. The only down side this time was they were remodeling so there was less parking. That is also a plus though since just about everything was new on our floor. Oh, they have a pretty decent breakfast in the morning. Not just cold stuff, warm stuff too such as eggs and sausage and biscuts.

I was really interested in a good night's sleep and a shower. I was disappointed in the fact that there was a lot of noise ... from the room above (renovations, I was told) until 10:30 PM and again at 7:45 AM. When I told the woman at the desk, she offered no apology, but simply shrugged and said,"I didn't think they worked that late". I have stayed at this hotel several times before and found it to be very satisfactory. I will stay here again in the future. I assume that this was a one-time occurance.

There are several attractions in the area: Gettysburg, Lancaster Amish Country, Sight and Sound Theatres (Bible on Stage) in Lancaster, Hershey Park. Also, it is not a bad commute to Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Harrisburg.

wE HAD A VERY LARGE ROOM. oUR ROOM WAS RIGHT OFF THE ELEVATOR. dID NOT HAVE TO WALK AROUND THE HOTEL.THE BREAKFAST WAS ... WONDERFUL AND QUITE LARGE ENOUGH FOR A GROUP. WE WENT TO A FINE RESTAURANT WHICH WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE DESK.

Nice clean hotel. Adequate rooms. Breakfast in the morning - decent pancakes, yogurt, surprizingly good oatmeal. Staff ... very friendly and helpful. The front desk clerk spent 15 minutes calling around to find out what restaurant would serve crabs at this time of the year.

Holiday Inn Express, York Pa at Leader Heights is a very convenient location for us when visiting family that lives in the ... Dallastown area. We like the king (non-smoking) rooms because they have a sitting area, desk, microwave and small frig. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Continental breakfast is a plus. Staff is always courteous and helpful.

I had not stayed at a Holiday Inn Express but the thing I always know, is - one can never go wrong with a Holiday Inn. Beds ... were very comfortable; staff was very friendly; and the room was clean as a whistle. Will definitely use Holiday Inn Express again.

We stayed in this Holiday Inn Express in York for four days at the end of July. Our dog was also accommodated with a fair ... surcharge. Everything was great...showers, great soft towels and linens, a/c, clean carpet, nice broad wooden hangers for clothing, laundry possibilities, constant upkeep in the hallways which was a plus, quiet, great breakfasts with pleasant seating, very eye-friendly room and all-area decor. Our small dog was particularly taken with the art on our wall. He kept studying it. This was a first! We did not have time for the pool, gym room or business center, if these were available; therefore, we cannot speak to those. We will definitely stay with Holiday Inn Express York the next time we need hotel accommodations.
