Fine Stay
Dr Jon Nov 15, 2009
Super staff check in process and house keeping. I was even asked where I wanted to be. Rooms are above avereage but not the ... nicest I have stayed in for a Time Share Resort. Location was great and would have no problem staying again due to the location and price for a 2 bedroom. A little disappointed that they didn't have a bar to chill at after a long day but that actually got us out of the hotel and onto I-Drive. We were never bothered by sales staff which was a pleasant surprise. Recommend this stay for anyone.

Very nice place
Thomas Dec 30, 2008
This was one of the roomiest place I have stayed. It was off the main drag, but close to everything on International drive. ... Save parking fees by walking the few blocks to Wet N Wild. Flippers Pizza across the street was another plus. This was a great place to stay. The only draw back was that they closed the pool at 6:00pm, while many people was swimming.

Nobody Takes Ownership For Problems
Angela Sep 1, 2008
We arrived well after the start of check in, yet were told it'd be another hour to two before the room was ready. ... Unacceptable I replied. We had dinner reservations at Capone's and that would prevent us from getting there on time. We were given a different room but the desk clerk acted as if they were doing us a huge favor. Luggage carts were scarce and the ones located by main check-in were denied to us as we were informed that's how we make our tips, you'll have to find your own. When I stated after all the unprofessional treatment I had received there was no way I was interested in attending a timeshare meeting, I was given a scowl and my check-in papers were flung on the table. A request for a manager was not met. The rooms and building looked nice at first, but upon closer inspection reveal shoddy construction. One of the towel rods woke us up in the middle of the night as it suddenly clattered to the floor. We will be having another family get together in December, and there's no way we're staying there again...neither is my sister. ****If you have children be CAREFULL by the pool: There's a fish pond where you can purchase fish food from a quarter machine to feed the fish in the pond. The only problem is, there's a baby alligator. The desk clerks stated Yes, this is Florida, one would expect to see alligators. What one from out of sate and not in the know is that alligators that are fed lose their fear of humans, and then humans lose their lives.

Spacious and Gracious!
Jeffrey Sep 23, 2007
I don't think my family can express how satisfied we were with our stay at the Westgate Palace. Check in was smooth, our ... room was not only clean, but contained many upgrades in every room, from the large, tiled restrooms, to flat screen televisions in every room, to a kitchen complete with updated appliances, including a washer and dryer. Beds were comfortable, pillows were plentiful, sounds from the exterior world were imperceptible. We continued to remark throughout our stay what a great find we had made. The hotel features it's own restaurants, but is only a block from International Drive, which possesses a restaurant per square mile ratio among the best outside of New York City. Our destination was Universal Studios, which is only approximately a mile from the front door of our suite, making it extremely convenient. I-4 is also about a mile away, so, if a Disney vacation is your plan, this hotel wouldn't be out of the question. A long stay? Perfect! The split plan layout makes it perfect...so the kids have their own room, and parents can get the privacy they desire. A hit!

THER HOTEL OVERALL WAS EXCELLENT!!! SPECTACULAR VIEW, ON THE WATER, RIGHT OFF OF INTERNATIONAL DRIVE, TONS OF OPTIONS FOR ... ACTIVITIES!THE VILLA ITSELF WAS AMAZING, YOU REALLY DON'T EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE THE ROOM FOR ANYTHING. THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE, AND SPACIOUS. THE SECOND BATHROOM WAS SPACIOUS ENOUGH FOR MULTIPLE PEOPLE TO GET DRESSED AT ONCE, AND NOT BE IN EACH OTHERS WAY.

Unbelievable Luxury Accomodations at a GREAT value
Verchetta Sep 16, 2007
We have always drive by The Westgate Palace while visiting Orlando and wondered what it looked like on the inside. WOW! We ... were not disappointed at all. It was like a small apartment or condo. The floors were marble tile, the master bedroom had a jacuzzi tub and separate shower! My son and his friend had their own bedroom with twin beds, and a television that he was able to hook his playstation game up to. We also had a television in our room and in the living room so everyone was able to watch what they wanted and was happy. There was a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the room! my son's friend ate too much and had an accident in the bed. Housekeeping who by the way was a very friendly lady, came up not even 30 minutes later and cleaned up and put new linens and comforter on the bed. We stayed on the 19th floor which was the top level and had a SPECTACULAR view of I-Drive and we could actually see the Hulk roller coaster and other rides over at Islands of Adventure from the windows in our room. And it was so beautiful at night time with all of the different colored lights on outside. We were in walking distance of EVERYTHING you could possibly imagine restaraunts, attractions, bars. We are planning to go back for our anniversary and we will stay here again!!!!
