Truly enjoyed my stay at Hilton in Omaha. Not to be confused with the one closer to the Old Market, which is Hilton Garden ... Inn. This Hilton is right across the street from the Qwest Center. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and quiet and the beds are comfy. Nice quiet haven.

The old market was great. There is plenty of resturants from fine dining to soup and sandwich. The night life and shopping is also concentrated in this area. If you enjoy art this is also a must see.

The Omaha Hilton
Lee Apr 22, 2009
I was there for a conference which was held right there in the hotel. It was convenient and there was no need to even leave ... the hotel. If I chose to leave the hotel there was a shuttle that provided transportation to the surrounding area. I thought that this was excellent service. The hotel staff especially the woman that cleaned my room was very attentive to my needs. Overall the staff was very courteous and very well trained as to customer care. The room was vry clean and when I requested a refrigerator there was one in my room when I arrived at the hotel. Overall experience was pleasent. The only thing that I did not like was the prices at the resturant. We had a hotel catered banquest which was just so so. But....$17.00 for Mac and Cheese (on the menu) was a bit startling. Also, Nebraska is a beef state and there are alot of resturants where a good steak dinner with excellent beef is cheaper then in this hotel. The hotel was nice...no outstanding decor to talk about just nice and comfortable. They do need a gift shop with more products available. The small concession stand that sold basics was the size of a big closet. Experience was good but not outstanding. Hilton has some beautiful hotels with excellent service here in Hawaii so if the price is right I will alsways try to stay at a Hilton. Aloha!

The hotel is directly across the ... street from the Qwest Center and just around the corner from the wonderful downtown shopping and entertainment district. The hotel lobby is very welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable. The hotels staff was very nice attentive and willing to help where needed.

hotel has numerous 'additional' charges
sheryl Jun 27, 2007
Althought a beautiful hotel with a good location to business and restaurants, as a business traveler I was shocked with a $10 ... sticker price for the gym and internet service. I did not expect 'a la carte' services and feel they should be absorbed into the cost of the hotel stay.
