Room perfect for Mother/Daughter trip

The location is both good and bad. Close to Metro always a positive, but Times Square is a pain to get through (so packeted ... with tourist). For our trip it worked out fine. We were shopping for a formal dress and we were two women by ourselves. We were close to Macy's, etc. and we always felt safe. The only real negative is no dining in the hotel...so needless to say no room service.

John's Pizza not only had delicious, New York style pizza but had a great atmosphere and one of the best Pinot Grigio's I've ever had. It is made exclusively for the restaurant. The prices were decent.

The hotel was immaculate. The bed was like heaven. After walking New York for 9 hours straight it was nice to come back to a ... hotel room that was clean and comfortable.

We went on a tour bus downtown and Uptown, was great, we stop at China Town to shop and stop at Little Italy to have lunch ... and shop for gifts. was great experience. We enjoy very much for the short stay. I will definetly will book again with Orbitz.

The location is fantastic. Both of us thought the beds were very comfortable and slept well during our stay. The concierge ... was very helpful with directions and recommendations.

Excellent location, 2 blocks from Times Square, walking distance from all the restaurants, parks and other fun stuff. The ... only downside is the hotel parking cost $52/day, so you are better off not driving or just street parking(be careful of bus signs and street signs though, they'll fine happy there :) ). Room service was great, and the concierge, help desk folks were awesome. Recommend.

Great location and the price was excellent. Times Square is a short distance away. This hotel is clean & the staff is very ... friendly and helpful. They made our experience all the more better. The room we stayed in was a bit on the small side but then again it's NY. It was clean and smelled fresh. The only down side was that you can hear when people were talking out in the hallway. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again and it was a great experience.

I expected the standard Courtyard look & feel and I wasn't surprised. What was surprising was that it was in great shape, ... very clean and the staff were all very courteous & friendly. I think this is one of the better values I've found in NYC.

Irish Pub right next door on 39th had good food at reasonable prices. Its a bit noisy- not a place for a romantic quiet dinner - but not overcrowded with the theater crowd so common in this area.

This hotel was in the best location in New York City. It is about 2 blocks from Time Square and so much more! The check-in ... was fast and convienient, but expensive, as is the rest of the city. No parking really dissapointed me. The only option to even walk in the front door is to pay for valet for 24 hours, for $52 or drive around in a crowded city you are not familiar with until you find a parking deck (which most are full year round, and closest one is 2 blocks away. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.

I was very pleased from the moment I checked in until when I checked out. The representatives at the front desk were very ... helpful and accommodating. I was able to check in early and was able to change my room without any complications. The concierge was also very accommodating and friendly. The hotel atmosphere was pleasant. They even allow me and my guest to store our bags after we had checked out of the hotel until we were planning to leave NY later that evening! In addition, the beds were nice, clean and comfortable. I would definitely revist this hotel in the future.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. Most hotels in NY are compact, Courtyard Marriot rooms were not tiny(like I was ... expecting). The hotel rate was very reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area. My room had a great view of the Empire State Building. It's in walking distances to 5th Ave shops and Time Square. Shuttles are avaiable to the airport. The room had a refridgerator in it. The staff was very courteous.
