Quiet, Courteous, and Clean

This was my first time in So-Cal and this hotel helped make my stay quite enjoyable. I traveled for business and the quiet ... environment made it restful to prepare for work. The one staff member I met was incredibly friendly; the person at the front desk was knowledgeable and informative about the area. If and when I go back, I will be staying at that hotel again. Thanks HIE Oceanside :)

Lots of places to eat nearby. They won't let me submit the name of the restaurant, but there is one that is another name for owls, right across the street; Fuddruckers, Chili's and others are also only a short distance away.

Friendly staff, except for Fox News on the TV during morning brunch! The workers did not know how to change the channel on ... the TV, but did reduce the volume! Morning breakfast was okay.

They advertise within walking distance to the pier....more like a 20 minute drive. The pool is like 10ft long and people ... were cutting their toe nails in the pool. The closest restaurant is not one that most women prefer to dine at and there is really nothing else within walking distance. I called Orbitz a half hour after checkin and was told no refund would be provided. I left that night to go to a new hotel. Requested a refund for the second night and was denied. The hotel lied and said they offered me a new room (I never complained to the hotel). This experience was a disaster, the Hotel lied and Orbtiz could care less.

We always choose holiday inn whenever we are travelling and we chose this hotel when we went to san diego to see lego land ... and take a stroll on the beach. We've never been wrong about holiday inn, staff are very helpful and accomodating, room is neat and very clean, place is quiet and free breakfast is great. Location is very close to restaurants so there's no problem for dining. You'll never regret staying at this hotel.

The Holiday Inn Express was a very nice hotel. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast ... was awesome! The only thing I didn't really care for was the charge for internet use ($3.50)and the $0.49 for each printed page. However, the hotel does offer free wireless internet access. Unfortunately, I was vacationing without my laptop. I would definately stay here again.

Too close to a highway

The hotel is convenienly located because it's near a highway and because of that, you will have to put up with traffic noise ... if you're on the highway side. The hotel is old but clean. It has no elevator so we had to dragged our luggage upstairs because all downstairs room are full. I probably would not stay here if I go back to Oceanside.

The Holiday Inn Express Oceanside is a clean and comfortable hotel. The staff was helpful, the complimentary breakfast ... buffet is small but has a great variety and the beds are incredibly comfortable. I felt the price we paid was incredible for the level of quality the hotel provides.

Comfortable Rooms(could havebeen larger), Clean. Parking is a hurdle else nothing wrong. Very close to shopping/dining. ... Decent breakfast. Will stay again.
