Dedicated traveler Nov 24, 2009
This was the 6th time I've stayed here, 1st time in the new Paradise Towers. Love this hotel/casino for it's rock and roll ... music played throughout the casino, hallways, elevators...great crowds and even better restaurants! I love Nobu and visit it every time I am in Vegas. The Paradise Tower is sweet and the new tower and pool construction looks like it will make this already great hotel even better. If only Vegas would do away with the smoking in the casinos...the world would be a better place.

If you are staying at the Hard Rock you don't need the shuttle service. The Hard Rock is right near the airport and a taxi will end up costing you less.

The room was great, comfy bed, good room service. but when it came to get the room freshened up. I came back to see the my ... bed was made poorly as if someone just threw the covers up over a messy bed and the old towels were picked up but none were left in their spot. so a call had to be made to house keeping at 3am for new towels. never had that one happen before.

the hard rock was perfect for what we needed. it had a wonderful atmoshere, good dining, very nice clubs and of course the ... decor. everything was very nice there and we truly enjoyed our visit. the only possible negatives would be the $7 fee per day and the 10 min walk to the strip.

Cool Rooms at a Sweet Hotel
Making Up for Lost Time Nov 14, 2009
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is What the Young and the Next Generation Wants in a Hotel. I Stayed in a Room in the ... Paradise Tower, Which is the New Tower as of this Review, with Another Brand New Tower Opening in Dec. '09. 42" Flat Screen HDTV, Leather Wall Decor and Custom Modern Designed Wallpaper, IPod Radio, Mini Bar and Glass Enclosed Roomy Shower, All Add Up to a Far Above Average Hotel Room. The Casino is Louder and Darker than the Average, But Its Great to Have It in a Hotel thats Off the Strip. My Only Negative in My Stay was the Small Number of Tables Open during the Afternoon, I was Hoping for More Variety. The Restaurant and Bar/Club Choices were Great and Had Something for Almost Any Appetite. Mexican, Italian and Many More. Rock Bar, Dance Clubs Take Care of the Night Life. Overall a Great Modern Hotel and Casino that Represents the Next Generation of Hotels for the Next Generation.

Nice price, but don't expect too much
First-time Vegas Visitor Nov 8, 2009
We booked a basic room in the main building as part of a plane/hotel package, so the price was very good. The hotel is close ... to the airport with no hassles getting to or from (cab fare was $8). CVS drug store across the street was another plus, especially since the prices in the hotel store were, as expected, exceptionally high. It was also nice having a Starbucks and a few restaurant choices in the hotel (pleasantly surprised by Pink Taco). On the negative side of things: VERY stingy with room amenities. One bar of soap, one roll of toilet paper and two bath towels on check-in. Even simple things like a cup for water or a hairdryer weren't provided. The shower was incredibly narrow and the showerhead was set at a height where anyone above 5'10" would have to stoop down. We had a late-night check-in with one person working the front desk, which meant about a 20 minute wait to get our keys. Other than these inconveniences, we were satisfied with the hotel. Nothing too fancy (at least not at the price range we were staying in), but suited our needs just fine.

Pay a little more and stay on the strip
Male, 27 Nov 1, 2009
-The majority of the pool was closed. -Hot tub was cold -Major construction going on, constant noise. I was on the 7th floor ... over looking the pool, i was excited about that until 7am the next day when some one was hammering on the floor in the room on the 8th floor, i called Guest services who told me that they are deep cleaning the 8th floor and they aren't supposed to start till 8am.... The hammering did stop for an hour but there was enough noise still going on to keep me awake. - Shuttle service ended at 9pm, you then have to pay $10 for a taxi which is easier enough, but for the money i was paying for a taxi every night i could of stayed at another hotel, on the strip, without construction and with an open pool.

NOT FOR US
Usually easy to please Nov 1, 2009
Hotel was off the beaten path and to difficult and expensive to go anywhere!!! No room in fridge for meds, too full of ... ordinary item at a 300%+ markup (ex: $2.49 water at CVS across street - $8.50 in hotel fridge) EVERYTHING ELSE WAS THE SAME..the shops, food, you name it. Hard Rock Cafe and Hotel have different owners and Cafe offers FREE shuttle to Strip, and hotel offers NOTHING. Thanks Hard Rock Cafe! Music was everywhere and was TOO LOUD (ALL THE TIME - Need to lower in the AM). NEVER AGAIN FOR THIS HOTEL!

I love staying in the Hard Rock. The atmosphere is fun and spunky, the rooms are awesome and modern, the beds are the most ... comfortable things in the world, and there is always a party going on at the pool. The only negatives are that the hotel is not located right on the strip and it is a smaller casino atmosphere if that is important to you.
