We had a suite. It had a living room, kitchen area, two flat screens, and a very comfortable bed. Everything was super ... clean. We would love to stay here again.

Great hotel, especially if you're going to a Tigers or Lions game. Everything is new and clean, and they have a ... restaurant/bar in the hotel. The location is perfect for going to Detroit sporting events, or even the casino. There's a lot to do within walking distance, and the hotel itself is in great condition. The rooms are modern, they offer free wireless in all of the rooms, and the valet staff was very good. Also, we arrived very early, and they let us check in 3 hours before normal check in. I would definitely stay here again.

My brother flew in from Korea, my sister from Ohio, and I flew in from Wyoming. We met up at the Hilton Garden for a weekend ... of Tiger baseball! Everything was within walking distance--the stadium, great dining and fun pubs. And when we were tired of all the walking, we soaked in the hotel hot tub! The staff were helpful and nice.

Greek Town dining was good, but the casino left us a little flat. I've been to casinos all over the world, but the one in Greek Town, Detroit was the worst for payoffs. I was very disappointed. Save your money and don't play the slots!

Its located in downtown, but no stores / shopping centers near to this location. Had problem with Bath tub, water was ... blocking in tub. Breakfast (Buffet) was expesnive, not much to do with TV programmes. Hotel was clean and service at front desk was good.

I loved the location of the hotel. We could see Greektown from our room and the Tigers Stadium was a 3 minute walk. It was ... very quiet. I didn't appreciate the $20 for parking so be prepared for that there isn't really a way around it, I tried.

The hotel was nice and was very convienently located downtown. The only real problem was the cost of valet. There was ... minimal...if any, signage describing the cost of the valet. Just a bill for it when I checked out. As a guest of the Hotel, I assumed they would have FREE parking available. I guess not in Detroit. Next time...Park at the Casino!

My wife and I were in town to watch a 3 game series against the Royals. Comerica Park and Ford Field are less than a 5 minute ... walk straight down the street. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was very convenient every morning, although at $11.95 per person seemed VERY overpriced, even for a hotel. If you are in Detroit for a Tiger's or Lion's game this IS the place to stay! We will stay here again whenever we come back up to see the Tigers. However, one big negative was the $45-$50 cab ride from and back to the Airport!

only problem was that they charged my fiance's credit card $50 for "incidental charges" when he was trying to pay $20 for ... overnight parking. Neither his name nor card was not even used in booking the room!

We drove in for the Tiger/Brewers baseball series. The hotel is perfectly situated for Comerica Park and Ford Field. It is a ... short walk to Greektown and to the river/GM building areas. The hotel staff was very friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations and directions. Our room was large, comfortable and spotless. We are definitely planning on going back.

Greektown is lively and fun. Eat at PizzaPapalis and stop in at the Greek bakery for dessert. They have wonderful, inexpensive pastries, tarts, etc. There are also several good fan shops for team apparel in the area.

Hotel was in a, fairly unsafe part of town without much patrolling going on in the neighborhood. Hotel desk clerk upon ... check-in just went through the motions, did not feel much of a connect. She certainly could have been more upbeat.That's her job. I don't believe you should have to pay 20.00 nightly to park your car when you are there on business, and also tip the valet each time you pick your car up. I know its not required but I do it. Did not feel safe parking the car on the street over night. Room was great and the other hotel employees were helpful.

This hotel was a good hotel for a quick business trip. The area of town is not all that great, although it's very close to ... the Greektown Casino. The restaurant was closed so all dinners had to be from other places, and there are many in the Greektown area. Rooms are very comfortable, staff was accommodating. If you use the hotel parking lot you must use valet parking (all the cars are in an outside lot so I don't see the need in valet parking) which will cost you $20 a day. I used a lot right beside the hotel's lot and the charge was $4 a day and it was only a few steps more to walk to.

The Hilton Garden Inn was a great hotel. It is within walking distance of Comerica Park and Ford Field. The hotel is very ... nice clean and spacious rooms. I liked a having a small frig and microwave in the room.It is also with in walking distance of Restaurants. It is easy on and easy off the expressway, I would definately stay here again.
