We were so happy to find this hotel! Unique victorian era decor is a bit over-the-top, but perfectly suited to this ... delightful B&B style hotel.

Step Back in Time with Quiet Elegance

My boyfriend and I were impressed by the atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast, tea, sherry, and cookies, ... as well as the location of the Queen Anne Hotel. We walked everywhere including Golden Gate Park, Alamo Square, Haight Ashbury, The Ferry Market, Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, China Town, Lombard Street, and scenic Pacific Heights. The trip was fantastic. We will remember our experience forever!

Share meals....... Two can dine as cheaply as one with the portions served at almost every restaurant. Share dinner and splurge on a dessert or snack! Share that as well. Your waistline will thank you, and believe me...... you will have plenty to eat.

The Queen Anne Hotel was a nice surprise. A lovely old victorian that was charming, has a wonderful, friendly, efficient and ... helpful staff. The only criticism I could find was that it was a little out of the way to get to the sites of the city. That said, it was worth the walk/ride and we look forward to staying there again. Value was excellent and the complimentary breakfast great!

You can get a bus at the corner where the hotel is located if you can determine where you want to go and which bus will get there. The hotel staff/concierge is very helpful and willing to find you the best route.

Check out the The Crepe House!! We tended to eat just 2 meals a day.. the The Crepe House was filling enough to last us until an early dinner.

What a FUN place!
3rd Anniversary Vacation Jul 3, 2009
We loved the Queen Anne. It was located away from the "touristy" places but that is what we wanted. The place was clean and ... the staff was very nice. The breakfast was pretty bland. Fine for a quick fix, but we found an AWESOME place to have brunch/breakfase/lunch .. 'The Crepe House' on Gough Street.. We could have eaten there every day :) but we didn't find it 'til the last day we were there. We did have a rental car and the hotel has a parking lot across the street for $14 a day, but we were able to find parking on the street every night.. Normally within a half block of the hotel ... The hotel does have internet access for free, but only if you are in the lobby. At first it seemed very inconvient, but as we were on holiday, it was nice to go down to the lobby at the end of the evening and have some hot tea, enjoy the fire place, and surf and cuddle with my hubby. Very relaxing and most evenings there were other couples there ~ had we wanted to socialize.. We tended to use the back parlor and spend some quiet time together. Overall the Queen Anne Hotel is clean and a great place to stay...
