The rooms were impeccably clean, although a tad small. We were short on towels the first night, but received them promptly ... when after we requested them. If you do not want to drive everywhere...and I mean everywhere as there was not even coffee available at all times at the hotel...then this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel was good, the breakfast was good $16 with tax and tip. Bed somewhat firm, airbed setting at 2. Key card problems ... every day, parking bad on Fri and Sat.

Nice Place

This hotel was everything we wanted. It was easy to get to from the highway, courteous staff, clean, and nice rooms. Our ... room had a very comfortable king sized bed. There was plenty of closet space, plus quite a few drawers. We utilized the microwave and fridge in the room. The free coffee down in the lobby was very good, so we didn't use the tiny coffee pot in the room. I really have nothing negative to say about this hotel. There's no bar or restaurant, but that didn't matter to us. There's plenty of places to eat very close by.

All in all it was fine -- but it was actually kind of far away from downtown Chicago. Other than that, the staff was ... relatively friendly and the room was very clean.

Great Stay, Very friendly/helpfull staff
Happy Travelor Jul 29, 2009
The hotel was far enough from the city, but still close by that you could get there in about 40 minutes. I truly was ... impressed with the whole experience. My one and only complaint might be, that there was no complimentary breakfast of any sort.

Extremely pleased
J-City Jul 28, 2009
Every single member of the staff that we came across the two nights we stayed here was fabulous. The room was clean, modern, ... and very quiet. We used the pool and jacuzzi area while there which was relaxing after a full day of walking around in downtown Chicago. Our only complaint was the breakfast; our reservation didn't include it which turned out to be 12.95 per person for what seemed to be a nothing-special buffet. Other than that, we definitely enjoyed our stay and I would more than recommend anyone staying here.

The BEST BreakFEAST in Town.

Wow. The breakfest is NO JOKE. It was soooo good. We had breakfest there every morning. We had the buffet, eggs and omlets ... are cooked to order. The Room was Clean and Smelled Fresh. Sheets were clean and crisp and not worn out. Space was OK, thats what we paid for, thats what we got. Close to the main highway. Plenty of FREE parking. Everything went great. This hotel was a GREAT value, I WILL stay here again.

Im tellen you, the breakfest was awesome. Toast was this thick wheat bread, muffins were fresh, OJ was fresh squeezed. Eggs were cooked to order. Sausage was tasty! It was soooo good. I swear I would just go to this hotel just for the breakfest.

Oakbrook Weekend Stay
Super Mom Jul 13, 2009
Overall I enjoyed my stay. It was in a great location! Loved the shopping venues and enjoyed the quick trip to Chicago. I ... would probably stay again but the staff was not very friendly. Luckily I didn't have to communicate with them that much. It would also help if the housekeepers spoke english at least enough to communicate.

Safe & Clean
Alex Jun 11, 2007
The Hilton Garden Inn in Oakbrook Terrace was a very comfortable and affordable stay. Not only was it located in a safe ... neighborhood it was also close to many restuarants and a shopping mall. Travel into the city was also convenient. After a short drive on the highway around the corner, you can park and ride at the Forest Park Blue train stop. The only complaint is that the walls were a little too thin.
Traveler type: Couples
Park and ride the Blue train into the city, it is much more affordable than staying in the city. Staying at this hotel, renting a car, and paying all travel expenses was much more affordable than paying the prices for a city room.
