"Great clean hotel for the price "

The hotel location was great - just a short walk from the strip. It was very quiet. We went to see Jubilee and Ka (Cirque ... du soleil) - they were both exellent shows. Get a bus pass because your feet will hurt from all the walking! And wear comfortable runners. The weather was a little too cold for me while we were there from Dec 9-13th.

We got there way too early ( check in is at 4pm)so we strolled around the casino. Check in was a breeze and the staff were ... friendly and helpful. The rooms were HUGE!!!!! Ours came with a little stove and fridge. There was one very grumpy bartender but the rest of the staff were great. It was very quite. You had to walk about 10 minutes to get to the strip but we were prepared for that and brought along some walking shoes. I would highly recommend going to their Cantina restruant! It was wonderful. I would go there again.

Vegas in December
Eye Doc in Maine Dec 14, 2009
It was a December trip (WAY off season) so all we needed was a good nights sleep before heading for the airport at 4 am. The ... staff and facilities were great, and our dinner in the mexican restaurant was impressive and very reasonably priced (even before the guest coupon for a free entree was applied). Only problem was that our room was very close to 'streetfront' and being just one block back from the strip, did not have enough soundproofing for our needs. Still, I highly recommend this hotel/casino and will stay there again. It was a great value for the price, and only a 5 minute walk to Bally's. If sound sleep is a big priority, request a room 'deeper' within their expansive complex.
Traveler type: Couples
Use the 'city bus' to get from one spot on the strip to another......$3 one way (exact change in bills) or $7 for 24 hours.

The city of Las Vegas has a bus line (the Deuce) that runs up and down the strip. A all day pass costs about $7. Would highly recommend, the strip is longer than it appears when walking.

Tuscany is a great place to stay
Kathy in Las Vegas Dec 14, 2009
A great location only a block and a half from the strip and equi distant from each end of the strip. Don't care for the ... daily resort fee and have not encountered it before in other cities. The coupon book could be a lot better but otherwise our stay was enjoyable with a large room in a good location. Would stay there again.

Room was very large and spacious, very clean and comfortable Marilyn's cafe located in the casino had good food for very ... reasonable prices. Location was near the strip, but was at least a 10 minute walk from the strip. The only negative was all of the extra fees. There was a $10 resort fee per night and $13/night for wireless internet in the room.

Went to Las Vegas for a friend's wedding, but we spent 5 days walking the strip, and enjoying Tuscany's pool, gardens and ... restaurants. Location is great (15 min. walking distance to the strip), and the gardens make you believe you are somewhere in a Caribbean resort. Paid a small fee ($12+tax) for early check-in (10 am. Twelve minute walk from strip
Budget traveler Nov 20, 2009
We took advantage of hotel's BOGO meal deal at Mexican restaurant. Good food, great price and quieter than strip. Never saw ... 202 bus when we walked to strip but often caught it back to hotel. (All day "Duece" strip bus tickets worked for other city buses too.) Our room was huge, normal motel chain type furniture... and super shower. Hotel is closer to center strip location (15 minutes to view Bellago fountains) than the Northern strip locations and couldn't beat price. They do charge for early checkin but we just changed shoes in lobby (could have changed clothes in rest room), left bags with valet and checked in later.

Good Stay
delhi Nov 19, 2009
Great location for a convenient stop for a restful nights sleep. However, It was quite so... I was given the choice of ... either king size bed or double queens. I specifically ask for the king and was given the double full size beds. Although too tired to complain and it was our anniversary we went to bed after a long day. Unfortunately, we awoke the next day with back pains. I guess we could have slept on separate beds. But i am annoy about the whole situation.

good hotel for the price
Vegas newcomer Nov 17, 2009
The hotel was quiet and comfortable for the price. [...] I liked having a fridge, but thought the stovetop was odd since ... there were no pans or utensils. A microwave would have been much better. The two major restaurants were very good and the coupons could be used at both for 1/2 price meals. Get the players card for some free stuff, but I didn't enjoy the casino that much. The waitresses were nice and for a $1.00 tip, they refreshed your beverages often, but I play blackjack, and found a few dealers rude and disinterested. With all the competion for gambling, this would make me not stay here again because I like to gamble at night in my own hotel. The walk to the Tuscany is too far to go up to the strip for late night gambling. Also, if you like to walk the strip, the extra 10 minute walk is an added burden.
Traveler type: Couples
The monarails make you walk endlessly through the casinos to get to the trains. The time you save walking the strip is wasted walking through casinos that you don't want to gamble in. A car rental for 3 days was cheaper then the passes for two and the airport transfers. A car is good for getting to the downtown area efficiently or a side trip to Sam's Town or the Hoover Dam.
