We spent a week here to explore the Seattle area. The staff were friendly and helpful, so we felt very comfortable with this ... hotel as our base of operations. Traffic and sirens outside could get pretty loud at night, but that's just because of the location... and it's a pretty good location. You've got easy access to 405 (right behind you), which can take you to either 520 or 90 in a heartbeat if you're heading to Seattle, or anywhere else really -- you're in the middle of it all. If shopping is your thing, the "Bellevue Collection", a mass of shmoozy malls, is just across 405. And there's a Whole Foods store across the intersection from the hotel, which was a great surprise for us. The hotel also has its own nice in-house restaurant ("The EastSide Bar/Grill") in case you don't feel like going out.

The Bellevue Arboretum is just a few minutes south of the hotel, on Main Street. Admission is free and the park is beautiful!

Happily Adequate
Stonesand Sep 7, 2009
An OK hotel, with nothing spectacular. Clean, slightly old-feeling. The rooms we stayed in were non-smoking, yet you could ... faintly smell the cigarette smoke from years past. The ceilings are that old cottage cheese style that indicates that the interiors haven't been refreshed in a while, but the furniture was all new-looking and intact. The TVs do not accept game consoles or other video equipment being hooked up to them: they have that annoying N64 controller hooked up. The free breakfast was standard. I would have preferred waffles, but they had just pastries and cereal, toast and fruit. No mini-bar in the fridge. We had to wait to check in for about ten minutes due to there being only one person working the counter.

Boast for Coast Bellevue Hotel
carolann Sep 7, 2009
We were visiting family in the area and the Coast Bellevue was very centrally located for all our needs. The room was small ... but tastefully furnished and very clean. Cleanliness is our main criteria for any hotel and this one fit the bill. Our only complaint was an mildew odor on the shower curtain. But it was replaced immediately when we called the front desk. The lobby had recently been redesigned and was quite impressive and very contemporary. The least impressive thing about our stay was the continental breakfast the next morning. The food selection was not very extensive and really not worth the time unless you enjoy cereal and cold muffins.

Great location to downtown. Attended softball camp at UW. Blah continental breakfast. They would wrap-up and use leftovers ... (sweet rolls/bagels) for next morning. Comfy beds. So close to highway. Great for convenience, but a little noisy. Next to Dennys and Whole Foods grocery store. Great sandwiches, salads and hot buffet bar at W.F. It is a little pricy.

Rooms were adequate, nothing special but had what we needed. Wish there had been a hot tub. Came for family reunion and to ... see Seattle's sites. Great location for all purposes. Good staff. With summer travel, there were a lot of kids at the hotel come the weekend - a bit noisy with kids running everywhere but not too big a problem to contend with.

Great hotel and price!
Satisfied vacationer Jul 12, 2009
The quality of service and accommodations was awesome! I could not be more pleased with the value for the price. I know it's ... superficial, but even the little soaps were better quality than most. Tons of room, 2 levels so you can have company without entertaining on your bedroom. I was disappointed that I forgot my pillow because hotel pillows are usually poor quality, but I was thrilled to find the bed and pillows both extremely comfortable! The only drawback is that I have a small child and the railing around the top level was spaced where a little one could easily fall through. Just be careful if you have small ones. Other than that, couldn't have been more relaxing!

We really only needed the hotel as a place to sleep after full days of activities, but this hotel lacked nothing. The free ... breakfast in the hotel restuarant saved lots of money, we enjoyed the pool on a few nights, and the fridge in the room was put to use as well! Staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, no complaints!

The Bellevue Grill located on another hotel property (I think a Sheraton) had amazing food. There was nobody else in the restuarant when we ate around 8 PM, but with the great service and great food I don't know how its not overbooked.
