This motel had its' best days around 1960!!!!! Since then, not much has happened ...

Horrible Motel

I think that [...] needs to do a more detailed research of their hotels. This particular establishment appears to be a ... welfare motel. Vermont recipients of state aid call this motel home. I did not feel safe as they watched you go in and out of your room.I felt compelled to travel back and forth with my bags for fear of them breaking into my room. The internet service came on in the wee hours of the morning for only a short period of time and if someone else turned on their computer before you, forget about internet service.The television was about 20 years old and there is only cable service on the side of the room closest to the front door so if you slept on the other bed you could not see the tv at all. Lighting is provided only by lamps so the room was a bit dim. All in all this was the worst motel that I have stayed in in along time and considering the price for a two night stay I think that it is reprehensible that [...] has this motel as one of their selections. [...]

Good.) The manager was extremely friendly and eager to please. You could tell he really was trying very hard to make us all ... feel welcome. Bad.) The plumbing and fluorescent bathroom light in our room was very loud. Our friend reported rusty water coming out of her shower. Slight cigarette odor in our room. TV remote was on its last leg.

It's clean and quiet but in our room a lamp was missing a bulb. Worse, the heat, which was barely holding its own to begin ... with, quit in the middle of the night. We got switched to a larger, well heated room for the second night and that was fine.
