Fantastic Hotel!

The hotel is in a fantastic location - there are a number of restaurants (IHOP, McDonald's, KFC) on the same exit/street. ... Easy access to downtown; less than $25 cab ride. The room was perfect - flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, comfortable bed. The staff was excellent, suggesting late-night delivery, arranging for cabs, overall extremely friendly!

What wonderful place to stay!!

We were greeted by a wonderful staff person who was ready to help us in any way possible. She was even so nice as to Google ... for us directions to a place of interest we were looking to visit. Everyone there was just wonderful and friendly to us, we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience.

We were completely lost in Atlanta and the wonderful staff at Sam's were so helpful in making available to us a GPS that we could afford. What a blessing that was because driving in Atlanta is not an easy task. I know this may sound minor to some people, but for us it a very big deal.

Atlantic Station area has great restaurants and shopping opportunities. Ask the staff about the wonderful restaurant around the corner-the food was delicious.

Right across the street there is a Waffle house also there is a Mcdonalds. The downtown area is about 15 minutes away. The airport was about a half hour away. The highway is right on the corner of the hotel which was great.

Not in Atlantic Station

The Hotel was nice but I thought it was going to be located in the Atlantic Station complex, according to Orbitz's address. ... It is about 15 minutes from Atlantic Station right off of Highway 85. Upon entering the hotel everything looks clean, the area was quiet and the breakfast was really good. Unfortunately, the room that I was in had several roaches (of all sizes). They were in the bathroom, on the desk, the walls and the largest one,which looked as though it could fly, crawled across the floor. I was completely turned off by it and I will not stay there again or recommend it.

Great Getaway

I liked the hotel but I thought it was going to be located in the Atlantic Station. I drove around the Atlantic Station ... looking for this hotel. Then when I called I realized I was staying on clairmont rd off hwy 85. Why do you advertise Atlantic Station? I wanted to be among the shopping and resturants within the Atlantic Station and walk to the Georgia Aquarium.

Orbitz says Stone Mtn, Really on Hwy

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hot tub and breakfast was good. But their professionalism couldn't ... make up for the other shortfalls of the hotel. Unfortunately, the location was not where the Orbitz staff said it was. It was twelve miles away adding to our driving times. The TV came blaring on at 6am and another unknown electronic device made several random noises starting at about 2:30am. I had to unplug several items as I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from in my suddenly awakened state. The room was right behind the front desk and we heard all of a noisty reveler's check in at 4am! Every night the hotel accommodated a tour bus full of people, which we also heard in entirety.

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant one.The business amenities were perfect. You were able to have free internet & fax & ... copies. The room was nice also. The location was ok because it was right off of the highway.I would say for the money this place was just right. Also they had breakfast on the premises.
