Omni Hotel

I was not please at all and wanted to get all of my money back and stay at another hotel. I was expecting great ... things, however I was welcomed with a issue regarding my reservations. The rooms were tiny and the TV was not HD or flat sceen. I was suprised to see that the tv that was in the room was a 20 inch tv that dates back to the late 90's. For the money I paid everything was ok. The bathroom was not great (the sink had rust stains), there were spots on the walls, the carpet in the room was dirty and the view was not great. I stayed at better hotels that cost a lot less. I will never spend my money to stay at the Omni Hotel if I have a chocie. I know that I cannot receive the entire amount that I paid, nut for all the trouble and the confusion that I was put through I want to request that I receive some type of compensation. Whether that be in a portion of money that I receive back or some type of incentive would be great because I feel that I was and am not valued as a customer. I use Orbitz all the time and have been very loyal customer

Great location.
Chrissie Jul 23, 2009
The Omni was an excellant hotel with a great location for eating, shopping and baseball! The staff were excellant and could ... not have been more helpful! The room we had was very nice but noisy late at night, due to surrounding hotels and cafes. Parking was awful because of the local events(baseball) we couldn't find anywhere but at least there was hotel valet parking - expensive. We really enjoyed our stay and would not rent a car next time.

Loved our trip!
PeaceDog Jul 22, 2009
My wife and I used this trip for a getaway weekend. The hotel was great! The service was impeccable and the location was ... perfect. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant and thought the crosswalk to Petco Park a nice added feature. It's very close to the Gaslamp Quarter and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the bed linens. They weren't very comfortable. In fact we found them to be scratchy. Otherwise, we loved our experience.

If you want to get some great Italian food, try Filippi's in Little Italy. It's fantastic--huge portions, excellent food, and it's reasonably priced.

Welcome Home Getaway with family
Military Wifey Jun 16, 2009
My husband's flight was delayed a day and they gladly changed the date even though it was a weekend. When I checked in the ... front desk clerk apologized to me about the inconvinance(even though it was the airlines fault) and gave us a room with a breathtaking view of San Diego harbor. When we returned from a sunset in La Jolla, there was popcorn, soda, candy, milk, and cookies waiting for my kids. Everyone was friendly and the service was awesome.

Great Place
Omni First Timer May 15, 2009
On our first trip to San Diego we needed to find a place that was convient to the activities we were planning. This was a ... great place, walking distance to a lot of dining places, close enough to the beach, highways, and airport.

Nice Location, Great Hotel
Annual San Diegan Traveller Apr 23, 2009
This hotel is classy, clean, and close to anything you might want in downtown San Diego, including Seaport Village and Kansas ... City BBQ. Excellent place to stay if you're going to visit Petco Park for a Padres game. My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were adequate size, parking was as affordable as it gets in the downtown area - self parking across the street in the structure was only $24 for 2 1/2 days, although we didn't exit and re-enter. Overall, the Omni exceeded our expectations...this is a place I would stay time and time again, as we visit San Diego at least once per year.

Amazing
Tomas May 25, 2008
This hotel is awesome! I would find it difficult to stay anywhere else in the Gaslamp, given its location and room quality. ... If you consider that the price is about average for the area, but the quality of the hotel is far superior, this hotel is the perfect choice.
