Perfectly located! One block from Times Square. Places to eat, shop and see within walking distance. The room was perfect. ... Not too small, clean, comfortable and not too noisy. I'd highly recommended it and I'd definately stay again! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. They were the best I've ever experienced in all my travels.

This hotel is surrounded by all the plays. Any play you wanted to see was less than a 10 minute walk. And Times Square was the next block over. That was Awesome!

Only one outlet in room and had to unplug lamp to use phone and camera chargeres. Milford Plaza Hotel is superbly located along 7th avenue and between 44th and 45th streets with 42nd street as subway stop. ... It is one block away from times square and at the heart of the broadway district. Strategically located for broadway entertainment, dining and sightseeing. The hotel is also a block away from tour bus stops(hop-hop off) which is a great way to explore NYC. Watching "Phantom of the Opera," learning more about the history of the city, visiting scenic spots were made more enjoyable and easy with our stay at the Milford Plaza. Hotel staff are also very helpful and accomodating. My husband and I and my parents had an exceptionally wonderful time with our stay.

Looks are deceiving
Mets Fan Aug 4, 2009
Reserved a room with a Queen bed, when we arrived all they had was 2 twin beds for us in a small room. Went back to the desk ... and complained, they replied, "You are in luck, the party over there wants 2 twins and has a queen bed, we will switch you." We switched rooms and went out site seeing/ shopping. Upon our return late at night, we found out or A/C did not work on a Hot night. We toughed it out (to tired). Next day we went to an early Mets game and I complained about no A/C and they moved us to another room, this one was like a closet with a queen bed in it and it had a strong order of cigerette smoke. I complained and they moved us again to another room which was bigger and the A/C worked. In all the rooms, there was some mold on the tub walls, the wall paper would be blistering in spots, windows would only open up a few inches and had no screens. Carpets were spot vacuumed, stains on bed spread and some of the sheets and towels. Dust on the mirrors and some of the furniture. Staff was very Friendly and courtious, Lobby was nice, and Location was great (Times Square area) Need to up grade the rooms. Expected more from this Hotel, very disappointed!

It would not take much to clean the shower/tub area a bit more thoroughly. Inside rooms are small but nicely quiet. Overall ... great value for location in NYC. I would take my son for a vacation, and have more funds available for sightseeing.

Amazing location right in the heart of time square perfect for the vistor looking to be outdoors exploring the big city ... without a long walk to the popular bar, resturant and shows at a affordable room price. Some CONS the rooms were small but expected in NYC also they had very thin walls meaning you could here your nieghbors. The bathroom could of used some plummbing work but overal not a bad stay at all would recommend to those looking to just "sleep" in the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location. We asked for a queen bed and got two twins. The bathroom had black mold in the corner ... and the room was VERY small. We didnt spend much time in our room but it still could have been a lot nicer. The security was very good but the concierge was always rude when asked questions. Very easy walk from Penn Station. God service for Cexk-in and decent room. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in hour room ... visited madame tussaud (a short walk away) time square, dining at Bubba Gump, Viva Oanchgo, Brazil Brazil and John's pizzeria. Elevators are way cool and good security. A complimentary breakfast or at a small fee would be great. Also more seating area in the lobby. Great Gift shop!
