I've been here before, but the quality seems to have taken a nose dive, my bed sheets had [*] stains. The bed was broken, so ... I would sink into the middle of the bed (the bed springs are busted), the toilet doesnt flush well, the bathroom tile had mildew, and there was someones hair stuck along the bathroom wallpaper, the stink was not clean around the edges, and the towels didn't smell clean (yuck!)

Try any local Chinese restaurant as well as any local seafood restaurant! The food is authentic and excellent!! Also, if in Seattle or close to Bellevue, try the Crab Pot!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! We're from the midwest and we don't get fresh seafood like that, but the crab bisque and the seafood for 2 packages were amazing!!!

should definitely visit Elliot Bay oysterhouse at waterfront for an excellent treat of crabs (will cost ~$75 per person including appetizer, a couple of drinks, shared deserts).

Midwestern getaway to the West Coast
stryker296 Oct 11, 2009
The hotel was in the perfect place to get on any major freeway! We couldn't be happier with the location and the cleaning ... staff was amazing! We got up late and came back late and the room was always made up and cleaned. The front desk staff wasn't has helpful as we thought. We were looking for local restaurants to go to and the just looked at there restaurant guide. They had a website that tells us all of that as well as guides in the room and we had to find them on our own at the end of the trip. That would have been quite helpful at the beginning of the trip. Over all I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. Very nice hotel with easy access from any freeway or street.

Smokers welcome
Foodie Sep 14, 2009
I liked the location of the hotel and I thought the room was neat and tidy. I had everything that I needed for a weekend ... wedding trip. However, I had requested a non-smoking room. The reservations the hotel had stated that I wanted a smoking room, but it was clear from my email confirmation that I had reserved a non-smoking room. The guy at the front desk was not very apologetic and I was disappointed to only have smoke eliminator sprayed in my room, which made me sick to my stomach. They offered to change my room the next night, but my things already reeked of cigarette smoke. When I came home and opened my suitcase, I had to wash everything. Otherwise, it would have been a pleasant stay.

Convenient, Clean and Quiet
Experimental Sep 8, 2009
We stayed 4 nights there at a long-weekend vacation. The staff was nice and accommodating, the rooms were clean (although ... quite small) and the location was quite and accessible. There was free Wi-Fi in rooms and the we didn't have any significant problems during our stay. My only complaint was the noisy heater, which is a common problem on this price range of hotels. If you are sensitive to fan noise, I suggest you avoid this hotel. Overall, it is not fancy or luxury but a very good value hotel that I recommend.

Sleepless in Seattle
Traveler Aug 31, 2009
We stayed at the Red Lion during our recent vacation trip to Seattle. The staff was excellent and even allowed us to check ... in a little early when we arrived. We checked into a room with double-beds which was relatively clean but very small. The bath room was also very, very, small and not very clean. The public areas, especially hallways, were down right dirty with old dirt and debris highly visible.

J PARK Army Mom Aug 30, 2009
My husband is being deployed, I went out to visit him before he left. This was time for us, without the kids. It was a quiet ... room, not a big huge hotel, which we enjoyed. Only two levels, no elevator. Clean, with a light house decor, very nice. Everything was very clean. There was no continental breakfast, which we are used to, and the room service was kind of pricey.

Coming to Seattle, defintetly bring a GPS without, we would not have had much of a trip. It was very easy to take a wrong turn and get lost. And you pay for parking EVERYWHERE!

This was a great hotel for the price. My boyfriend and I spent most of our 4 days sight seeing but after coming back to our ... room and being able to enjoy a nice clean room it made our stay very enjoyable. It is too close to the freeway which was one downfall. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here.

Red Lion Hotel Bellevue website deceivin

We were in town for a wedding. The hotel was close to restaurants and the Whole Foods market. The interior was not as ... nicely decorated as shown on the website. The internet connection was too slow to be useful. The heated pool was nice but towels for the pool would have made it nicer. For some reason people who booked their reservation on-line got screwed out of the free breakfast other patrons enjoyed, however this turned out not to be a big deal when we ate at the hotel restaurant and discovered the food was terrible.

We stayed here after going to a soccer game in Seattle. THe Hotel was right off the freeway which made travel easy. The staff ... was very helpful in giving directions and printed off maps so that we could go to the attractions that we wanted to. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were a bit lumpy. Also the walls were very thin and we could hear others talking all night and kids in the hall all morning. On this website it shows that The Red Loin has a contienental breakfast which is not true and a bit disappointing. But the staff was nice enough to recommend a eatery.
