The title practically says it all. For the price, star level, and area it's servicable. The room wasn't the cleanest but we ... spent so little time there it hardly mattered. The staff were friendly and helpful.

5 Nights in Williamsburg
Traveler Jun 16, 2009
Average hotel, about what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. They put us on the ground floor facing a neighboring shopping ... center. The curtains in the room are decorative only and do not close, so there is not much privacy and the bright lights outside our window kept us awake. We finally had to ask for an extra blanket to put over the window to block out the light. Also the iron in the room was broken and the bathroom sink was clogged and slow to drain. Not a great value for what you get.

If you want to drive, the selections of restaurants is endless. if you don't want to get in your car, Mama Steve's pancake house is across the street and is a breakfast must for this traveler. Also across the street is Aberdeen Barn for fantastic steaks and seafood. The Baked potatoes are wonderful here too.

Loubird May 24, 2009
It was our honeymoon. I was expecting a king suite like the other HIE's and was dissapointed when we saw how small their ... King rooms were. Was also very dissapointed there was no hot tub. I only stay at HIE's and this is the first one i've ever seen without a hot tub. The first 2 nights were nice and quiet and then the 3rd - 5th nights were very very distruptive. We were put on a floor owned by high school city kids. The employee's were extremely friendly and the rooms were clean.

My new favorite in Williamsburg
Mark Oct 20, 2008
The Holiday Inn Express and Suites is fantastic. I am in Williamsburg once or twice a year and have stayed in a different ... hotel each time. Not anymore. This was without a doubt the best room i've had. Big, clean, full separate bathroom, plenty of parking and walking distance from great restaurants and easy drive to lots of shopping and historic sites. The room and the hotel were the best maintained.

very clean and comfortable room
Frank Aug 10, 2008
The Holiday Inn Express was very nice we recomend it and we will use it again. The hotel was comfortable and very clean. The ... staff was helpful and friendly. After check in, we had not been in the room five minutes and the desk was calling to make sure we had everything we needed. I asked for extra towels and they were there within fifteen minutes!! The breakfast was good, maybe not what you get at a restaurant, but, for free it was very good. The area was kept clean and well stocked. Also, coffee is available all day and night at the lobby. The beds are queen size and confortable. The bathroom was big, very clean, with a great massage shower!! We did not use the pool or the gym so I can not rate them. The location was also good. Near restaurants and shops and within five minutes to Colonial Williamsburg.

Krista Aug 4, 2008
The room was very clean and comfortable. The sink is connected to the bathroom. They have a wonderul complimentary ... breakfast there. However, right next door they are doing construction. I was not affected by this since I was on the other side but a friend of ours was. If you are planning on sleeping in I would be aware of this.

The hotel was very comfortable. The kids had space to move around in, in our room. They slept comfortably on the pull out ... couch & my spouse & I got 2 good nights of sleep! The swimming pool was clean & spacious. Hot & cold complimentary breakfast was available- big plus when you are rushing to get 3 kids up & out in the morning. Bathroom was updated & there was enough storage for all that we had! The location was excellent. Close to a variety of dining places and to our sites.
