THe Hotel is beautiful...check-in staff were NOT friendly or helpful AT ALL. Lobby smelleed like rotten fish and mop-water ... ALL THE TIME. Room was PERFECT and large!

Hotel has nice beach and is about 4 or 5 blocks from a fishing pier. The room was very clean and quiet in the evening. The ... H20 restaurant is very good as well and I would recommend the potato crusted redfish. One complaint would be the loud 80's music all day and into the evening at the outdoor bar. I guess I'm more low key and would rather have something at the bar with the natural sounds of the ocean (the reason I came) rather than blaring 80's tunes.. However, no other complaints and room was quite cheap for the value.

I chose this hotel as a place to get away for the weekend. I accomplished this with the help of the Pensacola Hilton. The ... employees were friendly and prompt. The roomservice was wonderful. My only negative about the hotel is that my room was right next to an airconditioning unit, which caused a lot of noise when I was on the balcony. However, the doors blocked the noise when I was inside.

This trip was vacation, we encounter problems like never before, the ck in was ok presented the id. license and Amex card the ... following day they lock the room because they did not have the info on our credit card and we had dinner at their restaurant. Do you think this is correct?? we had paid 5 nights in advance couldn't they wait to call us ?? they had our cell number besides we did not like the dinner and they did not have the sparking wine we were looking for, from three choices only one was available.

This is a great location with lots of amenities on and off the hotel property. There are great places to eat on Pensacola ... Beach as well as in town. The white sand does not burn your feet. The pool is nice if your not in the mood for salt water. The whole Pensacola area is very scenic and beautiful.

The Staff is very friendly. We had at first been put in a room on the first floor overlooking the parking lot because we ... wanted a smoking room. I asked to be moved and they moved us to a wonderful 5th floor room where we could smoke on the balcony. The view was awesome and we even saw douphins from our room. Our grandaughter has a great time in the pools and we just relaxed and let her play. The only thing was you had to get to the pool early to get chairs. Thr Restaurant staff was great but was very overpriced. The store where you can buy sandwiches was even more overpriced. Having a Starbucks there was great though. We will be a return customer for sure. Thanks to the wonderful staff

My friend and had a great time. The Hilton had a super-friendly and congenial staff; we had a great time with them. ... However, the only downside was the housekeeping. We practically had to beg them to clean our room & give us clean towels on Day 2.

Issues I had is that some friends book the same room and got a better room with a gulf view for the same price and I got a ... room with the view of a parking lot and there is not a any material that lets you know there is a charge to use the internet in the room. That was a surprise at check-out. Another issue that happen was that they had some plumbing problem, however we were not aware of it and the staff accomidated us to a upgrade room on the tower. It was great that they moved us without a fuss or even asking and assit with our move at our convienence. Staff was very friendly.

if you are traveling to the beach with small children this hotel is ideal. The pool area is great! You are right on the ... beach, but there is an outstanding kid pool great for little ones. I would definitely recommend this hotel. There is a pool bar for the adults and the hotel resturant serves meals on the patio area right next to the pools, no need to get dressed to go eat. The food was very good! You are within walking distance of several restuarants and gift shops! My only disappointment was that our hotel room floor seemed a bit dirty, but we are at the beach.

We went for a birthday weekend, and got started off with a relaxing afternoon by the pool! We went out to dinner, and other ... places like fantasy golf with great convenience! We couldn't have asked for better weather, so anything we wanted to do was in walking distance from the hotel!

Great uncrowded beach getaway

My husband and I went for a long weekend getaway. It was springbreak week so we looked for a less crowded beach area. There ... were some teenagers there, but not bad. Nice to drive a couple of miles and almost have your own private beach! Flounders Restaurant is across the street and a great place to eat along with Crabs which is about a block away. We enjoyed walking everywhere. Not really a place for children as far as activities, but just what we were looking for. The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful. We only had breakfast there, but really enjoyed it and with the coupons they give at checkin, it is very reasonable. I booked online and did not know some of the rooms were not beachfront. We were disappointed in that, but will know next time. We tried to move to another room and pay the difference, but they were completely booked due to spring break. We hope to go again soon!
