The building was nice. The pool was small, but nice. Our room was nice. The cleaning staff seemed "creepy" so we kept the ... "do not disturb" sign up to keep them out of our room. Spacious. We could hear other people showering and filling up their hot tubs, which was not nice. The refrigerator kept freezing all of our items.

We went to see Niagara falls and I was disappointed with the area of this hotel. It is located at the end of the tacky ... Cliffton Hills area. More than the location I was totally disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom had a black hair in the tub and a clump of black small hairs on the top of the toilet cover. On the bathroom floor was a dirty toothpick. I decided that the bathroom was probably never cleaned. My husband asked that I not complain so that they would not use our toothbrush to clean the next day, if you know what I mean. I had to complain the next morning because I was disgusted when in the middle of the night I went to use the bathroom and my husband had left the toilet seat up, and down the back of the seat was a stream of feces stain. I was disgusted to say the least and marched down to say that neither my husband nor myself used the toilet in such a way to dirty it like that. The front desk manager was so understanding and her and the housekeeping supervisor came up to check out the problems and they cleaned it spotless. But because I booked through Orbitz, they could not refund or give me any conselation for the issues. Also the bed was so uncomfortable. I would never return here or recommend it although the staff was great.

Awesome Location but Bad Service
Crabby Fan Jul 6, 2009
The location was nice, only had to walk about 10 minutes to the falls. If you took your car and you came back to the hotel ... late, it is very hard to find a parking lot since its free. We were worried we had to park on the street. The staff were nice to let us park 15 minutes parking for the night. The toilet did not flush all that great. It got clogged up several times. The bed is a little uncomfortable since the mattress is hard. I am hard of hearing and have to use closed caption to watch TV. Well, they reprogrammed the channel as a menu so I could not turn on the closed caption on my own. I had to call someone to turn it on me so they can switch it back to normal programming. Why do I have to call someone to turned on the closed caption? They should not used the caption button for something else.

Inexpensive and close to all the sites
Loonie Jul 3, 2009
Travelled June 29 to July 3. We had got a good discount and was not expecting the room to be large - as expected the room was ... quite small (after checking the other rooms, our room was the smallest standard size in the hotel) with the bathroom sink in the room itself and not in the washroom. The indoor pool was larger than I expected (no outdoor pool) with a whirlpool which came in handy after a hard day of walking and seeing the sites. The Hotel is located quite close to the main strip. There are many quality restaurants nearby (such as Beef Baron, Tona Roma's etc) but our favorites were an Indian buffet - 'Delhi Darbar' and a little Schwarma place located very close by. The hotel also had a small gym which seemed to have all the required equipment but very little free weights. Since this was located quite near all the attractions many of the restaurants were over-priced and the quality of the food was not great. The hotel had an all you can eat breakfast. What we did was to eat a big breakfast - this allowed us to splurge on an more expensive dinner at night. Note that the breakfast consisted of only bread, bagels, danishes, cereal, OJ, Apple Juice and coffee - which proved quite popular (a lot of people has the same idea to save money)

Mediocre hotel- good location
Mariah Jun 28, 2009
We were surprised that the room was so small and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The room was stuffy and the air ... conditioner was old and noisy. That being said, the hotel was a good price and in a great location- one block up from the glitter of Clifton Hill and an easy walk from the falls. So we didn't need to worry about parking, because we never moved the car after we checked in. The staff was friendly and helpful and even let us check in early. The free continental breakfast was good quality with many options- we went early and it did look like it got pretty busy later in the morning.

The Hotel is very close to all attractions. and for the money. you couldn't beat it. The breakfast was really good. The only ... negitive thing I can say It looked like on the first day the room did not looked like it was cleaned properly. I think they rushed the turn around so we could check in. I would have rather have waited a few mins and have it clean. But the rest of the time it was ship shape.

We had a great time in Niagara, Ontario thanks to the Days Inn at Centre St. Location is great & safe area; we walked to the ... Falls & I even went for a run along it! Staff was always professional & friendly; gave directions & suggestions on sightseeing & restaurants; directed us & opened the alternate parking lot when the other lots were full upon our return to the Inn on a Saturday night; cleaned & replenished the breakfast food area politely & promptly (esp after other guests spilled juice all over the counter!). Room was very clean, roomy & comfortable; housekeepers do a great job. Fitness center is well equipped w/professional equipment that work, clean. We will definitely be returning guests should the opportunity to visit the area happen upon us again in the future. Thank you Days Inn on Centre St!

Great Stay!
KCJ Jun 2, 2009
We spent the weekend in Niagara Falls. Our goal was to be out & about seeing everything in and around Niagara Falls that we ... could fit in a 2 night stay. We wanted a hotel that had good ratings, great location, was very clean, great service and a low price. Days Inn Suites was just that! Very reasonable rates, free parking (which from research, many hotels charge $20/night to park), very clean, pleasant & good service from the staff, etc. We didn't have a view but that wasn't what we were looking for, as we wanted a clean & nice room to sleep. We were very happy with our stay and for such a reasonable rate! We were able to check in early which was a bonus. The hotel was a 5-10 min walk from the falls which was perfect for us since we did everything on foot. It was just a 20 min drive to Niagara on the Lake which was a nice town. The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast buffet at the hotel. It was too basic: cereal, bagels, toast, danish, drink. We had a great time and did everything we planned to do. We were very happy with our stay at Days Inn!!!

I enjoyed the location of the hotel. It is very close to all the tourist attractions, yet far from the noise and chaos of the ... tourist. I recommend the Niagara Power Pass since it gave us access to the IMAX theater, the moving theater, the maid of the mist, the wax museum, and many more. If you are unsure about this hotel don't be. It's the perfect location for the price. Clean rooms, free parking, breakfast, pool, and a friendly staff.
