nice setting on golf course development

The hotel is in the middle of a high-end gated golf community, surrounded by a very pleasant park. We did not play golf but ... liked the setting which is good for walking/ jogging around. The town and the private beach are a driving distance away.

The service was impeccable. The staff was very friendly. The hotel service, breakfast, afternoon coktail were worth the ... money. Golf course on-site makes it more than convenient. They have a private beach for hotel guests' peace of mind. In all, it was a great destination for vacation. It was like paradise.

Room was dirty, with what looked like vomit in the corner ... Mattresses are worn out ... Staff could have been much ... friendlier ... Food is overpriced ... Location is good ... Golf course is good ... though expensive Nice, quiet atmosphere ... You must remember it is the Dominican Republic ! Lower your expectations ...

Staff is very friendly , but very few speak english. The breakfast is excellant, the same as most of the hotels in the U.S ... Their manager's recepton is not that great unless you like popcorn and fried hotdogs every night. You can drink as much alcholic beverages, beer, wine and soda that you can comsume in the 2 hours. Be prepared to tip everyone that brings you a drink or waits on you. There are very few activities for couples except golf on the property. Pools and whirlpool are all outside if you like the sun. They have a private beach that the shuttle will take you to. This beach is used by other properties or resorts and someone is always trying to sell you something native to the area.
