weekend get away went to good guy car show fashion square mall. good dinning. breakfast buffet was nice.Enjoyed the pool. ... Hotel manager was really nice gave us a ride to nearby restaurant.

Nice place, quiet and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Nice to have snacks and coffee available. Hot tub was very ... good and roomy. Staff was bilingual and very helpful. Surrounding area very nice and accessible to all parts of the Phoenix area.

The Country Inn and Suites provided everthing we needed for our vacation. The room was clean when we arrived and they made ... sure it stayed that way everyday. When we needed assitance with a small problem, the front desk made sure it was handled immediately. The breakfast was excellent.

For a single room there was an enormous amount of space. A very comfortable king size bed along with a sleeper sofa to ... accommodate that extra guest made this trip very convenient. The breakfast and beverages just added to the value of this fine establishment. I would recommend a stay here to everyone from singles to large families. The staff was very kind and helpful and the rooms were kept very clean.

A large shopping plaza with a WalMart and some clothing stores was within walking distance. Two nice restaurants next door with great family food.

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Scottsdale, was in a perfect location. Access to the 101 was less than a minute ... away. My room was great, neat, comfy with a sitting room with a separate TV. Breakfast in the morning was also a plus. I would not hesitate staying there again. Excellent value.

There was a shopping mall and an Applebees right across the street. There was also a gas station right around the corner. There were two other restaurants a short walk away.

This hotel is an excellent choice for business travellers or busy vacationers. It is convenient to the freeway and is located ... near a shopping mall which has some nice shops. The hotel provides a breakfast which is adequate and there are some nice restaurants within walking distance also.

Comfort Inn and Ste. was comfortable & clean. I enjoyed the fact that there was continental breakfast, newspaper & evening ... soup (a new and novel idea for me). There is a grocery store across the street and 3-4 resturants within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Scottsdale, was a very nice hotel in a nice location. Just off the 101 Loop at Shea ... Blvd. Its a clean, safe location in North Scottsdale with pleanty of dining options nearby. My room was nice, clean, spacious with living Rm/dining area at one end and the comfy King size bed at the other end with bathroom in middle. Also had a kitchenette with sink, frig and microwave. I went to the grocery store across street (Fry's) and was able to heat up a couple meals in microwave. Continental breakfast was not bad...got me through till lunch. The soup/cheese/crackers at 9pm was not worth it.

Great Vacation Stay

This County Inn & Suites is centrally located in the NE Valley right off the Loop 101; making just about anywhere else ... quickly accessible. The staff here is friendly and helpful. The pool is clean, the breakfast buffet surprised me with its variety, and the lobby was at once cozy and comfortable. Access to the hotel is great from both directions, as well as the ability to leave the hotel in either direction on Shea Blvd. This was important to me. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Scottsdale area.

Poor front desk staff

The Country Inn & Suites has a very comfortable and well-appointed facility in a good location, however, the front desk staff ... left much to be desired. Upon arrival I was ignored by the front desk person as she completed some sort of checklist. There was no welcoming smile, but a clear feeling that she felt I was a bother. When we returned to our room after dinner we discovered that the room was stil very warm because of a broken A/C . When I called the front desk, she said maintenance would come up. After 10 very warm minutes, I placed a second call and she said that maintenance was coming and if he couldn't fix it, she would consider switching our room. He did show in 5 minutes; couldn't fix it, and then proceeded to switch the entire A/C unit as we watched. The morning front desk person also chose to ignore me and others when we first approached the desk, and then was full of unnecessary chatter. The facility was very nice. The room was comfortable, once cooled. The front desk staff was poor, at best.

I thought place was great..the service, atmosphere, even the smell. The rooms were very clean and nice and comfortable beds! ... I will stay here again!! Close to freeway and restaurants...good location!
