Great last minute deal!
Last minute travelers! Nov 21, 2009
We needed a last minute place to stay in Seattle. I didn't think I'd be able to book such a great deal just 24 hour before ... our arrival!! We were meeting our daughter and she was only in Seattle for a day and a half and wanted to do some shopping and visit Pike's Market. The Seattle Waterfront Marriot was only a few blocks from the Market. They were able to refer us to a wonderful place for Breakfast. We checked out and spent the day out and about while they held our luggage. We returned and they brought us our car with our luggage all loaded and ready to go! It couldn't have been more convenient. The lobby is beautiful as was our rooms - and very comfy beds/bedding - lots of pillow which I always love. We didn't have time to use the pool or gym but we did check it out and it looked very nice, maybe on our next trip. Best part was the convenient location and the very pleasant and helpful staff.

Pikes market is always fun and soooo convenient from this location. If you buy too much to carry, you can simply return to hotel and head back out! You can even shop or stroll the same day you check out. Check out is noon, but we checked out and left our luggage and car at the hotel - free til 5:30 pm. Saves trying to drive around and pay for more parking!

Excellent hotel and very friendly staff! THe rooms were VERY clean and the beds are VERY comfortable! The 2100 Bistro is a ... great place to eat, which is right inside the hotel. It seemed all the restaurants and bars closed at 11:00pm which I thought was a little early. The only other issue is getting to the hotel from the airport. You can only get there by Taxi which is about $40. They used to have a shuttle, but stopped running it in July. I returned to the airport by the light rail, but had to walk about 7 blocks to the train station.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway
Pat Sep 28, 2009
We came for an over night stay in the City with a Seahawk's game the next day. The location was perfect for our plans which ... always include and early breakfast at the Market. We were walking distance from the football game, and, the staff allowed us to leave our car and luggage until early evening. We will definitely be back here for our annual Christmas trip, foregoing a stay at our previous "favorite hotel" Thank-you Marriott.

Stroll through Pike Place Market. Snack here or chow down. Also, a longer walk (9 - 10 blocks) is the Salumi restaurant, which is owned and run by Mario Batali,s dad. Great sausage (which is what "salumi" means, in Italian) and similar products. Try the meatball sandwich!

Excellent weekend value
1000 rooms Sep 22, 2009
We arrived very late and the hotel valet was extremely helpful. At check in the clerk did not try very hard to find our ... reservation and tried to put us in a sleeper sofa in a hospitality room. After some instance she finally found the correct room. The hotel is clean and well located. Parking is expensive to someone form a small town but the valet staff is excellent.

3 blocks from Pike Market. Across the street from Puget Sound. Very professional personnel, without being stuffy. View of ... the sound from most rooms. Fridge and coffee (both required, if you want my business!) in room. Nice large tub; very good for us older, larger folk.

Great if you are going on a cruise
Seattlegirl206 Sep 13, 2009
Nice hotel great location if you are departing for a cruise the next day. It is right across the street. We had a water view ... which was very pretty to look out on. The crossing ferries were very scenic . Hotel was clean but bath room was a little small and the room we had only had one sink. other wise staff was friendly and hotel was clean. parking is always the killer which is one thing I think should be modified. 15 minute walk to Pike Place ..

Great Find!
Honeymooners Aug 10, 2009
Seattle Marriot Waterfront was on the waterfront in Downtown Seattle. Right near Pike's Place Market, and within walking ... distance to the Space Needle and countless restaurants. The concierge desk was extremely helpful is making arrangements for us and giving pointers about the area and points of interest. The Marriot had large rooms with great views of the water and pier. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location along the waterfront and within walking distance to the Seattle Marketplace. We took a ... Celebrity Cruise which was literally across the street -- couldn't beat that! The staff was wonderful and even took our luggage to the ship the morning of departure. I highly recommend this hotel!
