Visitors to Metro Phoenix and the Valley of Sun choose the Ramada Tempe at Arizona Mills Mall for a number of reasons. Our hotel has great access to both Interstate 10 and US Highway 60 - The Superstition Freeway, so travel around the valley is a breeze. Our location just across Baseline Road from Arizona Mills Mall means that shopping, theatres, restaurants, and arcade entertainment are within walking distance. Major League Baseball Spring Training is just across Interstate 10 at Tempe Diablo Stadium - Cactus League Home of the Anaheim Angels, and the sights, sounds, smells, and savory flavors of Mill Avenue in Tempe are just minutes away as well. Arizona State University and Tempe Town Lake are also within easy access of our hotel.
Of course, Tempe is just one of the cities that make up the Valley of the Sun, and bring travelers to the Phoenix Metro Area. Downtown Phoenix, US Airways Center - the stomping grounds of the Phoenix Suns, Chase Field - Home Park of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Symphony Hall, Herberger Theatre, and Phoenix Civic Plaza are just 9 miles away and easy access to Interstate 10 makes it an easy drive. The Galleries and Art Walks of Scottsdale, the West's Most Western Town, are just 11 miles away, and the shops and restaurants of Chandler - sometimes called the New Scottsdale - begin at Ray Road and Interstate 10, and are just 4 miles south of the Ramada. The University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the NFL Arizona Cardinals and Glendale Arena, home of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes, are 25 miles away, but the quick drive on Interstate 10 make them seem much closer.
Our hotel features a beautifully appointed lobby with a full array of vending options and a TV lounge. Our Continental Breakfast is complimentary to all guests, and be sure to pick up a FREE copy of USA Today to enjoy with your morning meal. After breakfast or after a day of exploring the Valley, be sure to spend some time relaxing and refreshing in our sparkling heated pool

Arizona Mills mall was just across the street.

The Arizona Mills Mall is just a couple hundred yards away. It is a large mall, with a multiplex theater and plenty of stores for all price ranges and interests. Several restaurants are adjacent to the mall.

I wasn't satisfied...
jo-jo Oct 29, 2009
We took the trip for a get away from home and work. I have taken trips before and always satisfied with my stay, the cost of ... the room AND the condition of the room. I thought I'd really be saving money but it seems like there wasn't much of a difference. When I made reservations for 2 rooms (side by side) with 1 king size bed in each room and non-smoking...but when I got there I had smoking rooms.[...] So she went through the room registry to see what was still available and found me 2 rooms, non-smoking and it had 2 full size beds. When she out me in those 2 rooms&I signed a receipt with the room price of $42 or $43 and the clerk marked it out. [...] When I turned in my room cards and asked for a receipt, I was told it will be e-mail to me but I didn't get any. I would also like to know when I will be getting that.

Price is right!
Travelin' Dad Aug 22, 2009
I was there for a one-night stay, so it was a good price for that. Though near a freeway, the hotel was actually quiet in ... terms of outside noise, but a bit creaky (really!). This doesn't bother me, as I am a good sleeper. What was not good for my sleep was that the first mattress I tried (I was in a room with two queens), was actually slanted on one side. The TV was good, and I actually felt comfortable reading in the room for a couple of hours before heading out to my late-morning appointments.

Not so great
Suzi1697 Aug 15, 2009
First off, the hotel is in the same parking lot as a strip club, which might work for some people, but wasn't very appealing ... to me. The toilet in our room was stopped up when we got there. The ac barely worked, it was very noisy & the room never really managed to get cool. I was using the blow dryer the next morning & it started smoking and quit working. I've stayed at other Ramada's in the past & they were fine, but I wouldn't recommend this one.

a Jul 25, 2009
The hotel is not located in the Arizona Mills Mall instead it is located across the steet behind a strip club that requires ... you to drive through the strip club parking lot to gain access to the hotel. The hotel tried to say that we booked two rooms instead of the one room listed on our paperwork and offered no assistance at all to reslolve the issue. This hotel gave me the impression that I was in Mexico since the majority of people staying there were Mexican.

Anita S May 25, 2009
The room had a slight odor in the corner like the smell of clothes that aren't quite dry. I was on the 3rd floor, and the ... wireless internet service was hard to catch. I finally found the spot in one corner of the room, so I had to move the table in order to use the connection. When I moved to other parts of the room, the connection would get disconnected. So happy hunting in order to find your connection :). Oh, there is also a gentelman's club in the same complex. It was a bit odd, but hey, some people might like that. The cabaret also uses hotel parking for valet services so it's a bit hard to find ideal parking late at night. For the price I paid through Orbitz, this hotel was quite worth it. However, I would not pay regular price :)
