Super location

The staff was very helpful with directions (in English). The location was within walking distance of shops, museums, ... gardens, restaurants and the metro (Paris subway is clean and easy to navigate). The biggest drawback was the small bedroom (bathroom was roomy?) and the sagging mattress.

Great location

We were in Paris for four nights and this hotel was located close to many of the things we wanted to see. The Louvre, Notre ... Dame, Jardin de Tuileries, Musee D'Orsay, Champs Elysees. The bathroom was updated and very clean. The room was a little small but then when in Paris you are there to see Paris and not spend a lot of time in you room. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions and needed directions.

I stayed at this hotel on an other occasion and this time was no different than the other the staff is very friendly and ... helpfull the location is perfect for me. we even had a small balcony where we enjoyed a glass of wine before going out to dinner. the complimentary continental breakfast is a plus, the only minor negative is the small elevator.

easy walk to Louvre, Jardin de Tuiliries, l'Orangerie, Musee de Orsay, Place de Concorde little bit longer to Notre Dame, Opera, Arc de Triumph. Take the Bateaubus (boats) to Eiffel Tower

Monoprix (21 Ave de l'Opera and many other locations) is the perfect place to pick up all those things you can't pack in your carry-on. Great prices on cosmetics, lotions, etc. We even buy a bread knife and plates at Monoprix to keep in our room for the wonderful baguettes to snack on. The Patissieres and Boulangeries are just around the corner. Great pastries, baguettes and sandwiches.

There are so many bread shops around (le boulangerie) and pastry shops ( le patisserie) around, so do not eat breakfast at the hotel, go enjoy some of the best bread & pastry in the world for breakfast! Do try the Angelina for breakfast or a pastry treat and their hot chocolate is out of this world! (Just a short walk away.) Also don/t forget to sample some of the famous macaroon cookies (really a pastry) that are found a good pastry shops everywhere.

Loved the Louvre Montana!
Sue and Tiffani Aug 21, 2009
My daughter and I stayed at the Louvre Montana for a week. The staff is warm and friendly, everyone we met there spoke ... excellent English (and even encouraged my terrible French!) The location is fantastic as the Louvre, Jardin de Tuilieries and even Notre Dame are within in easy walking distance. They have a computer in the lobby you can use for free if you didn't bring your laptop (we didn't) The breakfast was delicious with eggs, ham, lots and lots of pain au chocolate and sweet rolls, coffee and hot chocolate. I am so glad we chose this hotel as it was the perfect base of operations for our week in Paris! Merci!

Best Location and Wonderful Staff
Time traveler Aug 19, 2009
Superb location, 1/2 block to Tuileries and Louvre. 1 block to two Metro stations. Staff fluent in several languages, very ... accomodating and friendly. On Sunday, one of us fell ill, and the staff quickly called a Dr. to visit our room; then found an open Pharmacy with which to fill the prescriptions within walking distance. The room was smallish, clean, AC, and mini fridge. Delightful hotel.

Small hotel with a great location
karberator Aug 5, 2009
This was our second stay at the Louvre Montana. The location is just steps away from the Louvre, Tuileries, Musee d'Orsay, ... and many great cafes. The hotel is small (25 rooms) but the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have flat-screen televisions.

Great small, friendly hotel in s super location that is close to so much in the center of Paris! We upgraded to a superior ... grade room, so we had a room in the front with a nice view of the street and the room and bath were huge! We loved this place and will come here again!
