There was too much noise herd from outside. At a four star hotel, I would have expected better sound proofing to the rooms. ... Having no refrigerator was also unexpected at a four star hotel. Honestly, this was my first trip to a four star and it was nothing but a typical three star like Hotel 8 but maybe a little nicer she sheets. Also, the swimming pool was under refurnishing along with the spa which was not known about until arriving. Too over 30 min for water and champagne.

The hotel is fine but the shower was a mess - the curtain wouldn't go completely around and there was a ledge below the two ... shower heads so the water from the shower would collect on the ledge and run onto the floor. And I mean run onto the floor! At first we thought it was our fault so the next time every effort was made to keep the shower water in the shower but it didn't work. We started taking baths instead. The room was nicely appointed, comfortable bed but nothing really that made one feel it was all that different from other hotels that are less expensive.

The best place to stay in Pasadena

The Westin Pasadena was so comfortable. The bed was so cozy and soft. The whole hotel was non-smoking which I liked the most. ... You don't get that stuffy feeling when staying at other hotels that allow smoking guests you can breath at this one and go home healthy. Not only that the whole hotel was professional. We were visiting family in Hollywood and the hotel was only 15 minutes away and they had all the T.V Channels my favorite channel to watch is E and Lifetime and they had them, it was just like being at home. The next time we go we are staying there it was truly the best getaway we had in a long time. The only thing that I really wasn't happy about was the restaurant they had in the hotel. The menu didn't have many choices and it was very pricey, on top of that they did not have room service only fruit in the morning delivered to your door.

They do have restaurants walking distance to the hotel like CPK the others are very expense so bring extra cash and there is a BofA, movie theaters, and some shops very close walking distance too.

The Westin Hotel is well situated in an area close to shopping, dining, and walking in the Old Town part of Pasadena. We ... felt that the accommodations were very nice and well priced. Self parking is available in a secure garage at a reasonable price. We did not eat at the hotel, but it is fairly close to other nice places to eat. We had an enjoyable stay.

Located one block from Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, the Westin Hotel offers close proximity to a myriad of dining experiences, ... shopping, and coffee houses. The beds are ultra comfortable with generous pillows and fluffy duvets. Bathroom ammenities include thick, absorbant towels and bathrobes. My only suggestion would be to add fans in the bathrooms to assist in clearing out the steam from long hot showers/baths.

The Cheesecake Factory is well within walking distance as is a local favorite, Russell's.
