Clean, Good Amenities
infrequent flyer Dec 6, 2009
This Courtyard must be very new because everything is clean and in perfect condition. The room had plenty of space with a ... couch and a desk and I liked that it had both wired and wireless Internet (at no extra charge). The exercise room was pretty good. It had a variety of cardio equipment, a multi-station weight machine and some dumbbells. There was a pool and a restaurant but I didn't use them. The only thing missing was a vending machine. Sometimes you just need one. Off to the side of the lobby there was a nook with some vending machine style snacks but presumably you had to pay for them at the front desk, and that just seemed awkward. On a related note, if you wanted to use the guest laundry, you had to get change from the front desk. On the plus side they gave me a single serve Tide detergent! I would definitely recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, reasonable price and location (close to shops, restaurants, and the T),

Great Location

Everything was fine. I was only there one night and had no hassles. The front desk was courteous and efficient. The location ... is fantastic, close to many different types/ethnicity restaurants. The Green line of the T is a half block away and Fenway is only a 20-25 min walk in a nice neighborhood that I felt very safe walking around.

Anything you can imagine, Thai, Indian, Spanish Tapas, Chinese, Japanese, American and a nice bagel shop near the Trader Joe's Market, that is perfect for a relaxing start to the day.

Courtyard Boston Brookline Review
Natey Jun 8, 2009
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in the Brookline/Boston Area. We never did end up using their ... swimming pool & jacuzzi, though; this is because the pool was only about 3 1/2 to just under 4 feet deep, and the jacuzzi looked to be too small. Our room was nice and clean; our bed was very comfortable. We had trouble finding the hotel's location as it was rather hidden, making it more difficult to find, especially when it's one's first time driving in the Boston area and is unfamiliar with the surroundings and adjacent locations, as the hotel was not exactly right along an exit on a major highway. It would have been nice if they had a free complimentary continental breakfast buffet instead of having to pay additional money for breakfast at their lounge. However, this hotel is definitely a place that is more suitable for those who are on business trips of any kind and need a welcoming and restful place to stay overnight.
