Wow! This hotel was amazing. Our room was immaculate. The sheets are actually soft! Not crispy and rough like most hotels. We ... were given 2 bottles each of body wash and lotion instead of shampoo and conditioner and at midnight, called the desk and in minutes a very friendly woman brought us up some. The service was great. You can't beat the location (theres constantly shuttles to CityWalk and both Universals) and you get the Expresspass for staying in the onsite hotels which is SO useful (we got into Islands of Adventure at opening and saw every ride by a little after noon)

I had business on the lot and this hotel made it easy to get to and from City Walk. I enjoyed the decor and it made me feel ... relaxed. The room service food was great. The mac and cheese was great comfort food. I would love to bring the family here for a vacation weekend stay.

Cindy Oct 23, 2009
We arrived on Fri afternoon and the room was ready. Everyone was very friendly. We relaxed eating dinner by the pool. We went ... to the desk and they helped us with tickets to different shows and events. With the room we were able to express all lines within Universal and Adventure Island. We needed some supplies for the room that we didn't have with us and they kindly sent them up to us in a very timely manner. It was a great week!!!!

This is our second stay at this hotel. Not only are the prices high for food, snacks, & beverages, but we had to pay $15.98 ... per night to park. That adds up when you are there eight days!!!! We did not have to pay to park in 2006 when we were there. We did like the location in regards to Universal Parks.

The unhappy family Jul 6, 2009
Good thing we spent $400.00 on tickets for the parks after we paid over $1200.00 for the room because that was the only fun ... we had. They played old movies at their "Dive in Movie"there was nobody watching them, they charge $10 per person per day to use the gym (nothing special by the way)the rooms are nothing special and they charge $15 per day to use their refrigerator, charge $15 + tax per day for parking, room service was terrible, it took them 30 minutes to bring our laggage to the room ,took 30 to 40 minutes to bring 4 coffe cups and their ice machine was always empty. Luau was $52 + tax per person, the first hour was to eat a cold meal with a fruit punch they call "MAI TAIS" and beer (How drings Heneika?because that's all they have)the show we watched there for the 2nd hour was the same show the had by the pool later that night FOR FREE.Don't spend your money on that. We are always doing something on our weekends, like staying at nice hotels, resorts, cruises and this was the worst experience when it comes to the price and comfort.

I had a great experience at Loews. It was my 3rd visit to this hotel and will love to come back. The rate was lower than my ... previous two visits, which it was great. I will like to see at least one bus transportation from the hotel to International drive street where they have local business.

Friday they have movie night at the pool. Games for the kids.Beware of local business leaving advertisement for Pizza and other food. The hotel does not support or agreed to have does flyer in your room. I ordered some spaghetti and meatballs and a Greek salad and it look and taste like leftover. I wasted my money.

The Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort was the ideal hotel for our family. The hotel had beautifully lanscaped property ... that invited you to spend more time just relaxing while enjoying the views. The room was clean, clean, clean and the staff very helpful. The inhouse sushi restaurant was great with seating that invited you to lay back and relax.

Very Friendly Staff
Krystal Nov 30, 2008
The staff was very accomodating as soon as we arrived. We weren't able to check-in until 7:30 p.m. due to flight delays. We ... had 8:00 p.m. tickets to Blue Man Group and did not think we were going to make it. I asked the staff for the quickest directions to get to there and they offered to drive us as close to the entrance as they could get us. The next helpful experience was several days later when I realized I left my purse (with everything in it) on a shuttle bus that had just dropped us off at the hotel entrance. One of the hotel employees tried to catch the driver at the entrance but missed him. He then used his cell phone to call the shuttle service to arrange them to come back to hotel and they did. Everything worked out just fine! I couldn't have asked for a more friendly, customer-focused atmosphere.

The place to stay when you don't want to have to do anything
Angela Nov 28, 2008
The Universal Loews Royal Pacific at Orlando was beautiful, clean, and accommodating. I forgot the passes for Universal ... Studios and they were able to help me replace them. The room servece was on time and delicious. We slept till noon everyday and our rooms were always clean when we returned. The beds were fantastic. My husband wants me to find out the maker of the mattress and purchase one. The resturants were wonderful. There is a boat shuttle service to Universal and it is Great! Did not need a car or parking. Our Thanks Giving was Fantastic and we will return. Great time of year to be at this hotel and Universal.

Amazing Location
Angela Oct 13, 2008
I highly recommend this hotel. It has a relaxing Asian influence and beautifully landscaped grounds. The pool is well ... designed and laid out so it offers Adult quiet zones and a great kid friendly area that kept my 4 year old neice engaged. We ate in all the hotel restaurants and enjoyed them all; especially Emerils. A great dining experience, indulge and try everything on the menu that appeals to you. We brought Grandma along who attended the luau; I recommend you make reservations ASAP and get there 30 minutes early. She arrived 15 minutes after seating, buffet was wiped out and she had a poor seating for the show. The best value of this hotel is it's location. A relaxing 5 minute boat ride to the park. Great for park weary travelers at the end of the day. I also recommend you walk the beautiful path from the hotel to the park. 8 minutes later you are in City Walk.

Loved the Staff!
Darlene Aug 22, 2008
They gave us a Water-view King room with a smile. I also mentioned that it was our anniversary and how happy we were to be ... back. Not an hour after checking in, a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries showed up at our door with a lovely note from the front desk, with congratulations. The kind of service that the Loews Royal Pacific Resort offers, is unlike any I've ever experienced. We were there during Tropical Storm Fay. We had 5 days of torrential rain. We were determined to make our once a year vacation the best we possibly could, despite the weather. With the staff at the RPR, it wasn't difficult. Our last day there, they opened the pool area (even in the downpour), and we were chatting with one of the waiters at the Bula Bar by the pool. He mentioned that the hotel's motto was, Four star service everyday - PLUS and that it was their job to find that PLUS everyday and extend it to their guests. Well, they did that...and so much more. We can't wait to go back again - very soon.

All of Universal's attractions are literally a short walk away. As enjoyable as the water taxi's are, try one of the flora lined walkways to City Walk just one time. It is truly one of the more peaceful moments to be found. Try it on a day when you haven't spent all day on your feet at the parks.
