Nice Hotel/Overwhelmed staff

If you enjoy listening to others talk while at the manager's reception and you are in your room on the second floor, then ... this is your kind of place. The hotel is understaffed. At breakfast the were two cooks who could not keep up with the guests needs. At 3:00 p.m. our room was still not cleaned, and we did not attend the manager's reception on our second night due to the bar area being understaffed as well.

Everything was very enjoyable. The only negative was that we wanted a non smoking and we were given a smoking room that ... smelled like smoke. They did offer to bring a machine in to help. Everything else was awesome. The rooms were large enough that we could put the kids to bed in one part and shut the door and could enjoy the other part of the room kid-less. It was in a central area so we could go to the aquarium in the morning and to north padre island nation beach in the afternoon. Another fun place down the road was funtrackers. It has go carts that children aged 3 and older can ride, along with bumper boats, miniature golf, and arcade games. The breakfast was awesome and although we only caught the end, there was complimentary cocktails in the evening, a nice ending to a busy day. The staff was very nice in fact, I asked if I could get some dish soap to wash some sippy cups and they offered to wash them for me. The beds were really soft and the bath towels were built for normal sized adults. Overall it was a great stay! We definitely return next year.

they dont clean your room every day - they dont provide enough coffee for the rooms they let children run and play soccerr ... all over the floors they closed the breakfast station before 930 in the a.m. over all pretty dirty

Great Experience

Visited Family and friends. Observed a wedding in the atrium of the hotel. Shopped souvenir shops We went sightseeing along ... the shoreline. We loved the water fountain at the entrance to the atrium, it is beautiful. We thought it was a better experience than before.

We went to Corpus for my Aunt and Uncles 50th anniversary,Mary Jane and Jennifer were very nice at the front desk the rest of ... the staff was very unfriendly. They acted like we were bothering them when we asked a question.We stayed one night, we came in took showers and went to sleep and the following morning the kids woke up with welts on them from something biting them. I told the front desk that they might wanna have the room exterminated because of something biting the kids, the lady said that one of the General Managers would contact me and they did. The neighbors were loud and slamming doors but otherwise it was nice. I really like the fact that they have Smoking and Non Smoking rooms, I have stayed at Embassy Suites before and I love their Hotels and have never really had a problem with them, I don't know what happened this time, but I would give it another try.

We enjoyed our stay at Embassy Suites in Corpus Chrisit, Texas. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. We appreciate ... the cleanliness and atmosphere there. We will book there again in the future.
