I appreciated the living area for when friends came by to visit. They did not have to sit on the bed or even go in that ... room. I liked having a refrigerator in the room as well. It prevented having to get beverage from the vending machine. I was able to get something from Walmart and have it there. Easy access to the 105 was great. The other hotels on Century Blvd left you with more traffic to contend with. There was also free parking in front of the hotel as well!

Breakfast is served within the hotel for free; get their early or late, or else be prepared to wait the non-prepared parts of the meal. But well worth it. With 4 of us I figure we easily save over $30/day on breakfast compared to eating out.

We flew into Lax and rented a car, the hotel was only about 3 miles from the car rental place in a quite area. Seemed perfect for us to get to were we wanted to go as long as we stayed off the 405 traffic wasnt that bad.

Rixstuff Nov 19, 2009
The hotel was very nicely appointed including lobby, lounge, and the room. However, both televisions came on several times ... throughout the night on their own; the fire alarm was tripped twice after midnight by guests; and the room next door was being renovated/remodeled at about 7:30 A.M. including very loud banging and the use of an air hammer or chisel for at least two hours. Nice place/but a bad experience. Very untypical of Embassy Suites I've used before.

Dave Oct 9, 2009
My stay was first rate, the only issue I had was the noise. The room above me and the bar below made noise that I could hear ... within my room, this made me feel that the construction of the hotel was subpar if those noises could get through to my room. I was in room 283. One evening I could hear somone swearing and shouting in the lobby area. This went on for about 15 minutes. There were several nights when I could hear a scraping noise coming from the room above me.

YY Sep 20, 2009
It is a very usuful hotel near LAX. The courtesy shuttle is available for 24 hours, but from LAX you have to call the hotel ... to pick it up. At first we expected only useful location. However it is not only usuful location, also good atmosphere and service like as resort hotel. Everything was more than we expected, we could have very wonderful 3 night stay!!

It was an overnight stay, but I waited for nearly an hour and 1/2 for the shuttle to arrive at the car rental and i wound up ... taking a cab. The only number available at the car rental office was the 800 # which turned out to be one of the most unfriendliest customer service experiences.

LA Vacation
Jeremy Aug 19, 2009
Hotel was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every room was a two room suite and the rooms were ... great. Hotel is a short two miles from the beach. Only one possible downside, it's far from most major attractions like Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown, ect... Expect to pay fairly deep cab fare if you want to get there. Beyond this minor thing, I would stay at this hotel everytime I'm in L.A.

Good hotel, but noisy
Hotel Guest Aug 6, 2009
Because the hotel is near the airport, you hear them taking off and landing all night long. It's really loud. Also, parking ... is an outrageous $21 but parking on the street is free and fairly easy to find. Though be aware of street cleaning on Tues and Thurs. The cops are there at precisely 8am. Otherwise, the room is large but dated and worn. The breakfast is lame but edible.

Laurel Aug 3, 2009
The hotel was beautiful, friendly staff, good food. The rooms were very nice, enjoyed the space. My only comment would be ... that the bathroom, although clean, did have some mold starting to grow on the ceiling and a little on the shower/bath tiles. Otherwise, we loved the location having a late night arrival and early morning departure from LAX. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Nice Stay
Jen Jul 7, 2009
Nice and very pretty hotel and clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Managers reception was nice to have. The only downfall ... was that the hotel is not within walking distance to anything. The bus that was supposed to pick up across the street never shows. The shuttle for the hotel basically only runs to the airport and back, which was nice, but doesn't get you to other places. One other thing our fridge did not work in our room it would have been nice to have.

The complimentary breakfast is wonderful. Get there by 8:00 am to avoid lines and food shortages. The cooked to order breakfasts are outstanding. Also, the manager's reception in the afternoon is a nice chance to start your evening with a drink on the hotel.
