It is the strict hotel policy to have any guests bringing a pet, Dogs or Cats only, under 40 pounds, that the Hotel Pet Policy form be signed and adhered to. Horrible Hotel for ANY travelers!

Horrible experience. Ants in the room. Complained and switched my room. Next morning ants again. Forfieted 4 days and got ... over the money spent. Not worth staying in.

Was taking the Robinson Helicopter safety course. Hotel is right across the street which was very nice. within walking ... distance of food and grocery stores etc. Not an amazing place, but clean and comfortable for a good price

We have stayed at this Ramada before about 1 year ago and were pleased with it for the price but the carpet was dirty it ... showed on my socks. The staff was friendly and the place was quiet and the bed was confortable except for the need for more pillows so we decided to stay again. The room we stayed in this time was spotless, no complaints. The carpet was clean. The massaging showerhead is a big plus after driving for ten hours. We are also happy to be able to obtain a room that allows smoking that isn't a dump. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

My experience was generally positive. The continental breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, they ... knew nothing about the Restaurants.com $50 free dinner gift certificate, and although I had the printout of the voucher,like myself, they could not get a listing of the restaurnts honoring this certificate on the Internet. This was a draw back. I was told this is a promotion between [...] and ORBITZ and I should contact ORBITZ.

I liked the location, half way between LA and Long Beach. Staff were very nice and courteous. Room was on the bottom floor ... and I guess that's how the bugs got in. I had crickets in the room every night, very noisy and there were always little aphid like creatures, in the bathroom and tub. Pool was very nice, as was the hottub. Bed was comfortable.

close to the malls and everything!! The staffs are very friendly and made my stay very cozy from the beginning! On the second ... night, there was water problem going on..and i had kinda bad time not being able to use water for hours.. but the rest was perfect for me. i will recommend this hotel to my friends definately!

Reservation did not work

I had to make this reservation quickly (12:20 PM on Wed. 8/5/09). Sometime after 5PM on the same day I learned that the ... reason for my trip was cancelled. I had to pay for one night stay even though I did not have 24 hours to make or break the reservations. This was very disconcerting since the circumstances were beyond my control. Explained to Orbitz rep and have left messages for hotel manager but have not heard back.

Complaint 1) Computer down. Front desk took 1/2 hour to check us in. C2) Door key seldom worked over 4 nights. No one ... ever fixed it. Cell phone destroys keys - I don't have one. C3) Breakfast. No butter! No 1/2 & 1/2

There was no USA today paper. I am 77 yrs old and I had to carry my bags to the second level of the unit. I thoughy this was ... an indoor facility not an outside motel.

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Staff tried to take care of everything that came up. Very good breakfast set ups. ... We had troubles with their TV reception. Which they tried to fix, but were un-successful. The refrigerator in the room never worked well. They replaced several times. The small inconvience was rewarded with a check back from the hotel. The location was good for us. Plenty of food places close by the hotel. The wanting to help staff over came the few inconviences.

A great stay for class

This hotel was located just across the street from the Robinson Helicopter Training facility. I couldn't have asked for a ... better location without getting a sleeping bag on the production floor. The room I initially got had a bit left to be desired as the door jam had pulled away approximately 3/4 from the door on one side toward the bottom, the next room had an adjoining door leading to a loud family and the overall 'feel' of the room was a feeling of 'forgotten'. When I politely requested a new room I was met with courtesy, speed and an apology. The next room had the same style bed, chairs and table, sink, tub, etc. but was clean and well kept. It was then it occurred to me that I'd forgotten to account for the two hour time zone difference from my trip and it was still before the noon check out time. The shower was great in that the curtain bowed outward to give more room and the hot water was virtually on-demand. The single only thing (well, aside from more TV channels) the room needed was a toilet fan. I think it would be especially important for couples or families that stay. Locally, the area had loads of facilities available, from gyms, restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores, retailers and outfitters. The gas/petrol prices nearby, were very good also. I'd prepared myself for lofty California prices, but was pleasantly disappointed. They were equal to most of the US. Overall, a great stay. Would do it again in a minute.

The Ramada Inn was very comfortable. Everything was in perfect working order, heater, shower, TV, lights. It was cleaned ... everyday and I am pretty pickie. For the value it was a great place to stay.

The Ramada Inn Torrance was a plesant stay. No disturbances of any kind. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and ... courteous. The room was larger than expected. Bathroom is seperate from vanity and sink. Various shopping centers and dining places are within a 1 mile distance.
