Good, solid affordable experience
Pasadena native Nov 16, 2009
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is not a luxury hotel it is a basic ... place to spend the night at an affordable price. I am originally from Pasadena so we were not in tourist mode. We just wanted somewhere to spend the night while we visited family. The hotel delivered on what we were looking for. I would stay there again.

[...] the hotel room was fairly decent. There are only a few reasons why I would not stay here again unless I had to. The AC ... did not have an option to continously run and in a small room, it was very noisy. The walls are thin and the sink water was so weak I had to use the bathtub for a stronger flow of water. Other than that, the rooms are cheap and the rooms are clean. The area is not too bad. Plenty of food, shopping, and college students.

Head west on E Colorado. There's a great frozen yogurt shop that sells by the ounce. Great variety of flavors and toppings. A tasty, nutritious reasonably priced treat.

If you want a cheap place to stay, the Travelodge is that. Nothing fancy or luxurious, but completely adequate for the ... economically minded. Over my 4 night stay, I did see 2 tiny cockroaches in the bathroom. No clue if it was a one off occurrence or indicative of a more systemic problem. I guess come at your own risk. ;)

Here for a conference. Convenient location. Rooms were clean, but small (very reasonable). Continental breakfast was juice, ... coffee, tea or hot chocolate, cold cereal (cornflakes or raisin bran) and some prepackaged muffins and rolls. Also some fruit (bananas and apples) Swimming pool was clean but very small. Staff was pleasant and helpful when asked.

Low cost for a reason
Michael May 21, 2009
No problems with the hotel, and it was the least expensive in an overpriced area, it was just tired.I was there for a short ... business trip and spent no time in the room so it was a very good deal for the trip. On the street of the Rose parade, so that might be a highpoint for some folks, especially from out of state.

Melissa Jan 2, 2009
We first went here after the Rose Parade and were told that our room would not be available for a couple of hours!! ... fortunately, we got in right away, but had to pay an extra $25 dollars for a roll away bed that broke on us!! The room was unclean and there was not much room in there as well. After the night, we woke up expecting a nice breakfast, but sad to find not much to fill up on, and there also were not too many dining options close by. Overall, our trip was fun, just not the place we stayed in. the location was good, the only plus!! I would not reccommend it to anyone!!

I would suggest going down Colorado Boulevard and go shopping, there are many nice stores and great places to eat as well. Johnny Rocekts was our favorite and Juicy Couture was nice.

Affordable Hotel
Veronica Oct 3, 2007
The hotel nightly rates were fair to the condition of the hotel. Staff was friendly and catered to our needs. Located in the ... outskirts of Pasadena, but it is close to a really pretty town. Room seemed a little small with poor lighting and they do not have an iron and board in the rooms.
