OK for a short stay

The hotel was OK, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. The welcome cookie was nice. The gym was pretty nice for a hotel. ... The room I had was pretty noisy, as it was located near the staff closets, and there was a lot of traffic and noise. When I attempted to use the quick room service breakfast order by hanging the order on my doorknob prior to midnight, no one ever picked up the tag so I didn't get breakfast. Additionally, the room didn't have the ammenities that are common in other hotels, such as microwave and minifridge. The TV also had poor reception, with only a few local channels, several news channels, ESPN, and TBS. I was also surprised that there was no in-room internet service available that I could see (i.e. nothing listed in the services brochure in the room). With respect to internet access, the brochure only said that it was available to wireless users in the lobby on the first floor. Kind of weird...

The hotel was clean and nice the only two complaints I have is that it was kind of expense for the location the beach is a ... mile away and the last night I was there the alarm went off and we had to get out of the hotel at 6 in the morning with my kids and baby, then they told us some one pulled the alarm. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

the hotel and rooms were very clean, the beds were so comfortable. i had children with me and they love the pool and most of ... all they enjoyed the cookies they received every time they entered the hotel.:-)

Our Double Tree Hotel Room was a bit of a dissapointment. Areas of the bathroom wall were mildewed and the wall paper was ... coming away. The curtains were falling down and a bedside lampshade had a hole burned right thru it! Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean.

The Doubletree at Virginia Beach was a comfortable hotel. The bed was very comfortable. They did not have a regulare king ... room but tried to meet our needs by giving us a handicapped room. The location was near my visiting site and right off of our main road.
