Nice place
Milwaukee traveller Oct 14, 2009
The location close to the airport can't be beat. Our one year old ended up getting croup the night we were there and the ... staff woman at the front desk was sympathetic and helpful to find the nearest hospital/walk-in clinic. Doors were slamming a little bit much the night we stayed and the court yard area was hopping, so it was a little noisy. Overall though, the rooms were nice, the staff was friendly to us and accommadating. I would recommend staying here. Their continental breakfast was great for the money.

These pirates charge you $15 for parking and they bill your card in advance for $55 in case they want to accuse you of ... stealing their linen.

There aren't a lot of places around this hotel to shop for things. There are a couple of fast food places within about 4 minutes, but I haven't found a grocery store yet. You have to plan ahead a little bit in this regard.

I was in town for a wedding. The A/C was broken and several calls to the front desk nothing was done. My room was 75 degrees ... the whole time. I was charged to park in the hotel parking lot $15.00 a day. The tables in the room were cracked and dented. The bathroom sink the marble was cracked and full of black mold

Terribly disappointing stay
disappointed Jul 23, 2009
We were appalled when going thru the basic cable channels to find XXX showing on HBO at 9 pm. It wasn't a parent ... controllable channel. The hotel got the cable company to change the HBO feed temporarily. What if our 13 yr old grandson had found it before we did? The bill delivery people were noisy and woke up my grandson at 3 am. The Handicapped shower was atrocious. It's a good thing we didn't need the handicapped because a handicapped person would be falling flat because the whole bathroom got flooded. The shower fixture leaked all over the place. Not a good experience at all! When I did complain at the desk about all of this they did comp us our evening meal and our parking.

Great place to stay!

This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel. It is near San Francisco Airport and a little ways outside of the city. I ... like it because the rooms are spacious and have nice amenities. The absolute best thing is the made to order breakfast. They have a huge buffet and omelet cooks. The line is 20 deep sometimes - it's that good. The worst part of the place is the gusty winds late in the afternoon and early evening. They are big for California standards, but I've been in similar and worse in the midwest. This place was remodeled just a couple of years ago and is still in pretty good shape. They have 2 LCDs in each room in case you have kids that want to watch cartoons while you watch something else. I haven't seen the pool here yet. There are always lots of kids there, so I avoid it.

Mom May 11, 2009
It was a great deal if you factor in the cost of breakfast for four including 2 teenager. Pool and jacuzzi were nice, but ... have seen better at other Embassy Suites. Close to San Francisco without being in City but didn't expect to have to pay $15 to park as there was ample parking and other hotels in area didn't charge for it. Good breakfast typical of E Suites,

Great Getaway
Joseph Aug 14, 2007
The Embassy suites san francisco airport hotel was wonderful. The king size bed was extremely comfortable for our old bones ... and it was made up to look very inviting--not at all like your typical hotel bed. We were very satisfied with the service and the breakfast cooked to order was tasty and nutritious. The afternoon happy hour was a lot of fun and a good time to socialize with other guests and each other. The hotel was located near the airport and a shuttle was provided to the airport. From there we could travel on BART to whatever part of the city we wanted to see. It was a lovely trip.
