Antietem vacation

The owners were unprofessional They gave someone else the key to our room. They did not refill the coffee in our room. ... They did not want ot give us extra towels when we asked. They acted like we were going to steal them. We ran out of toilet paper. The bath room was dirty. The toilet seat was broken. We could smell cigarette smoke. The electrical outlet in teh room didn't work.

This hotel is located right off the highway. Not very easy to find the entrance to the place. The hotel has three floors but ... no elevator in the building, so pack light. The staff was nice enough to switch me to a first floor room after requesting help with carrying my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. I guess they don't like carrying luggage up 3 flights either. I found the room to be in need of remodeling. The bathroom was somewhat clean but old. The toilet was wobbley. The lamp was broken and unplugged. The room had a microwave but the cord wouldn't reach an outlet. The beds were clean and actually very comfortable. After I using my Lysol wipes to clean everything that I would touch, I went to sleep. I woke up to go to the bathroom and take a shower only to find a flood on the floor! I was stuck for 45 minutes in my room waiting for the front desk to call me back and tell me what was going on. No one called, so I finally called and requested another room to use to shower and get the heck out of there. The woman came and gave me a key to a room on the second floor so I could at least take a shower and go to the bathroom. I had to go back down to get my luggage and carry it over flooded floor which had now saturated the rug. Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I have never stayed there before, but it had a three star rating at the time I booked my reservation. I thought it would be ... fine. I was very disappointed. It is close to Martinsburg as far as food and shopping. I thought the room was dark, and it had a musty smell. I will never stay there again.
