Complimentary breakfast is offered only in weekdays. Saturday and Sunday you can go to the McDonalds located aside the parking lot or take a very short trip to Del Taco or Dennis in the same street.

Great location, but that's it.
Family Captain Aug 26, 2009
Being in the middle of a triangle formed by 3 major freeways, this location is great to go around. We used it just for ... sleeping. If you want to get the complimentary breakfast you need to be there before 9 am. The only thing I did not like is that they advertise nice and well lighted room pictures with a more contemporary look and flat TV screens, but once you are there you get the usual dark old fashion rooms with tube TVs. They create the disappointing by showing you one thing and delivering something different of lower quality.

Very nice hotel, and convenient location close from South Coast Plaza. The room is very nice and the beds are quite good for ... all of my family. All included and no hidden cost - complimentary Internet, parking, and breakfast. I find just one thing to be improved - internet speed, wired and wireless, is quite slow.

WOW, what an amazing trip! The room was beautiful with a king size bed and a great view of the pool and hot tub (which was ... amazing). It was a great location since you wouldn't want to go to the same beach every day. There beaches are too beatiful to do that! The entire trip was WONDERFUL!

Great price, super clean, good location!
CD Jul 6, 2009
Wow, great price and great place. I was a little hesitant since we got such an inexpensive rate but read such great reviews ... that we decided to book a one night stay here. This Holiday Inn is clean, updated, and in a great location right off the freeway. There is a McDonalds right next door and a mall within walking distance. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Checking in was quick, just be aware that they will place a hold on your debit card for a certain amount for incidentals. This is common for all hotels - if your not using a credit card they place a SMALL hold fee on your card. We did not have one problem with our room or stay. We stayed the next night at the Hyatt in Long Beach which is a 5 Star hotel, this Holiday Inn was more comfortable! Great place for the price!!! A+++++ Will be back again.

A let down
Think twice before booking Jun 20, 2009
Breakfast was fine. Dinner restaurant is awful. First night: $25 NY Strip. 1/3 fat and the rest was tasteless. Second Night: ... $15 Chicken Alfredo. Tasteless and over-cooked, mushy pasta. Bertolli and Ragu jarred-sauce light years better. Third Night: $15 1/2 LB Burger. Two overcooked, dry tasteless patties on stale, re-heated buns. $12 unless you are silly enough to add cheese and bacon for an extra $3. Bathroom shampoo and soap never replaced. Holiday Inn: Do yourself a favor. Do not advertise your restaurant as having a dinner restaurant and replace your cheap, painful bathroom toilet paper with Charmin Ultra Plus. You are making customers ill with your food and having them excrete your poor food menu and wiping themselves with cheap sand paper. Spend an extra 50 cents for real toilet paper. We'd be happy to pay for such a luxury. Many of my co-workers that also stayed here could not sit for their week-long duration of stay. My worst Holiday Inn experience.
