For shopping at Lenox Mall, no place is more convenient than the J W Mariott. The service is attentive and polite and I ... really enjoyed having breakfast there.

Concierge very unfriendly and unhelpful. Hotel is close to the Marta and Lenox Mall, but walking anywhere interesting is an ... issue. Rooms are tired and need a re-do. Would not recommend for a hotel in this price range

Publix and Target are located a short walk away, on the NE corner of Peachtree and Lenox (hidden behind a parking deck).

The hotel is nearly on top of Lenox Mall and a short walk from Phipps Plaza mall. It is also just steps from the metro.

The front desk reception was efficient and the breakfast dining room experience was good. Even the room service food was ... warm and tasty. However, getting attention over the telephone was not easy. It took eight calls to raise room service so I could place an order and making a wake-up call appointment turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. I settled for using the knob and button covered CD player/radio...whatever. I would have called the staff geek for help, if I had been able to get my phone calls answered. Otherwise, it was a nice experience. Hotel workers spoke to guests in a pleasant manner in the elevator and in the hallways. The room was well furnished and my car was produced quickly by the valet. Now, if I could just get them to answer the phone.
