The Holiday Inn Laguna Beach hotel is a beach resort located in the heart of Laguna Beach. It is nearby Laguna Hills, Newport Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Huntington Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and South Coast Plaza and minutes away from the pageant of the masters art festival . A French country decor hotel with rooms facing the heated pool which is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. Across the street from the beach and within walking distance to all shops, restaurants and the famous art festivals. We have just completed renovation on all guest rooms, pool, lobby and the courtyard. The Blue Laguna Restaurant & Lounge is the hotel's restaurant. The Blue Laguna offers, sun drenched patios, shaded back patio in tropical settings, amazing food and nightly entertainment.

Just wanted to get away for the evening to Laguna. The hotel was very nice. The front desk person could have been a little ... more helpful on suggestions for places to eat. Overall the experience surpassed my expectations.

Ambience of the hotel is colonial, kind of conservative. Staff was friendly & helpful. Mind you the hotel has many stairs to ... go up and down and no elevators. Rooms are old, bed was fine though. Room smelled a little funny. Crazy oversized TV to make up for it. Wireless access at no charge and my room was close to the pool with nice surrounding garden. At night ground floor turns into bar/ hangout. Not too noisy. I had sushi a few doors down, great tasting and very reasonable priced. Cross the street pass Taco bell and go down the stairs to look at the ocean. Overall not bad for Holiday inn

The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, excellent shopping and restaurants. We parked the car and walked ... everywhere. The hotel is across the street from the beach--close enough to walk but not so close as to be bothered with noise.

Unexpected, great find!

Wonderful hotel, staff was super friendly and accomodating. We loved the location, right in the heart of Laguna and a block ... from the beach. Be prepared to climb stairs, the main street sits high on a cliff and it's a steep flight down to the ocean (we had a toddler with towels, toys, and a stroller). But it's well worth the "excercise". We really felt like we got a lot for the money. The rooms were small but extremely clean and comfortable. Overall, I give this hotel 5 stars.

Our Beach Visit

This a GREAT little hotel, just a short walk from the beach. What is best, is that the Hotel is about a block or so from the ... main shopping area in Laguna Beach, which is full of little shops and sure fun to shop in. Across from the Hotel is a Supermarket which makes the overall location of this hotel perfect. You will not regret booking this Facility!!
