The castle exterior promises fun and adventure - which is exactly what you'll find inside Excalibur, one of the most recognizable landmarks of Las Vegas. Located in the heart of the famed Las Vegas Strip, Excalibur offers exceptional value and a range of dining and entertainment options in a setting that's fun, not fancy.
Excalibur offers three floors of excitement. The property's main level is home to one of the friendliest, most exciting casinos on the Strip. Downstairs, visitors of all ages will find fun along the carnival midway. Excalibur's Castle Walk, a promenade above the casino, features a variety of shops and street vendors that recreate the ambiance of a Medieval bazaar. Scattered throughout the property are dining and entertainment venues that emphasize quality, value and friendliness.
Amenities:
The hotel's outdoor spaces include two huge pools, a man-made mountain, dramatic waterfalls and two thrilling water slides. The 2007 new and improved pool complex expands on the two existing and landscaped pools to feature additional spa areas, relaxing & reflecting pools, fire pits and other amenities.
The 13,000-square-foot Royal Treatment Spa and Fitness Center offers massages, facials, a fitness center and separate pools and saunas for men and women. The bright, modern facility neighbors Excalibur's pool area.
Castle Walk is home to restaurants, stores and a food court with familiar favorites like Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Quizno's, Cold Stone Creamery, Starbuck's and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (open 24 hours!).
Excalibur's 100,000-square-foot casino is famous as a fun and friendly place to play. It's full of hot slot games as well as video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow and keno. Excalibur's all-new poker room places the wildly popular game into the center of the casino floor and a 150-seat sports book features a television at each seat. Casino players earn comps, cash back and invitations to special events through the Excalibur player's club.
An elevated tram connects the hotel with neighboring sister hotels Mandalay Bay and Luxor.
A Resort Fee of $7.50 per room, per night, will be charged at the front desk. This includes fitness center access each day of guests' stay; two (2) beverages and/or well drinks in any casino bar; two (2) games per stay at Excalibur's Midway entertainment venue; and unlimited local telephone calls from guest rooms. Long distance domestic calls are just 10 cents per minute.
*** Guests must be 21 or older to check in. Maximum stay is 10 nights - Excalibur will not honor a booking longer than 10 nights. ***

Great location close to the airport and other casinos. Better gambling can be found on the Strip. Check out Planet Hollywood, ... which has better odds and a nicer casino. Excalibur is a good value, we paid $12 a night for the room. Internet access costs $13.99 a day.

The Excalibur isn't that bad of location, but it is on one end of the strip, but it is an ok hotel. It was my first time in ... Vegas and I learned a lot. The next time I will stay somewhere along the center of the strip, like The Mirage.

Some of the smaller unknown casinos like Casino Royale had some good deals on drinks, but it is a long walk from the Excalibur so the next time I'll stay somewhere along the center of the strip, like The Mirage.

The biggest upset was having to pay more money when checking in at the hotel. When I booked my hotel on [...] I expect to pay ... exactly that and not have any surprising fees when I get there. I was charged an extra conveinence fee of $8 per night and was very dissapointed. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience at the Excalibur this time. We asked for a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room so we had to move. Once we got in our new room we found used condom wrappers on the ground. Very dissapointed.

Kel Bel Nov 22, 2009
The rooms were very clean, the hotel is in a great location between the Luxor and New York New York and the service was good. ... Rooms are actually more spacious than other hotels I have stayed in. They give you free drink vouchers and other coupons which is a great gift with the room. All in all, it was a good visit and I would stay there again. Oh by the way, REALLY GOOD PRICE compared to other hotels.

ATL Granny Nov 21, 2009
The price was exceptional...for the location. However, the room definitely left me desiring more. The view was decent, but ... everything from the comforter to the window treatments were outdated. The bedding was not comfortable. I will definitely stay across the street...MGM, New York, New York, etc. and pay more.

Pleasant Stay
Washington Couple Nov 21, 2009
When checking in the woman at the counter was extremely friendy and helpful. We were early so being able to store our bags ... with the bell cap was very nice. It was a bit irritating getting asked repeatedly if we would like free show tickets. They came with the price of a 3 hour time share talk. They swarmed us every time we walked through the hotel. To be fair this happened at other hotels too.

Vacation between Nov 8th-13th
Mayabi Nov 20, 2009
The hotel is on the strip, in the center, though you have to be ready to walk a lot in Vegas. Near Luxor and New York New ... York, it still took us about 20 minutes to walk to the Venetian and Treasure Island, where most of the atractions are. Overall, a very good hotel, was really cheap and we never got anything like that for 28$ a night. 42" TV screen, BIG room and great bathroom. Just awesome. We booked it for 4 nights and added another one on our last day. The hotel had no problem with our additional night booking which been made through the internet and not directly through them, and they let us stay in our room.

Not good compared to last trip there.
Slot player Nov 19, 2009
We have stayed at the Excalibur many times over the years and always had good service, clean rooms, and friendly people. ... This trip was a real let down. Because we couldn't afford to upgrade to nice rooms, we had to wait several hours for them to clean rooms for us instead of letting us check in upon arrival as usual. My daughter and her husband drink as they play the machines, but couldn't get anyone to serve them and had to go to the bar and purchase drinks instead of being served on the floor. The last night we were there, one cocktail waitress showed up and treated them very well. I wish I had gotten her name, because she treated everyone well. We have gone to Vegas as much as 3 times a year for a lot of years, but I very much doubt that we ever go back again. I know my daughter and her husband won't go back again. We have Casino's here in Oklahoma that treat you better than we were treated out there this trip. If my husband and I ever go back, we will stay downtown where it's much friendlier.

Crummy Mom Nov 18, 2009
When we arrived, we discovered upon putting our things in the room that the bed was broken. We asked to have it repaired and ... instead we got a free upgrade to a pool view, flat screen television, king-size bed room! We were thrilled. We rented a car from the rental place at the hotel and had no problems. We spent considerable time in the Excaliber casino and had meals and souvenirs comped with no problems. We had previously stayed at Imperial Palace in Las Vegas and had a more enjoyable time in this larger hotel with many more amenities. I would recommend Excaliber to other people due to the friendly staff, affordable rooms and overall fun we had there.

I would recommend the half price ticket booths to fellow travelers. We were able to see a fabulous show for under $100.

You can get discounted rates for shows if you buy a few hours before. Shows don't always sell out- and they would rather sell more tickets at discounted rates than have empty seats. This is big savings, since most shows are around $100-$200. You can save up to 50% off the day of.
