We checked in late at 1 am with no hassles. In fact, the receptionist was present there and he greeted us with gift pouch of ... toiletries. We got a great deal of 3rd night free on 2 night stay. Room was quite well equipped. It had both Refrigerator and Microwave. There were two specious beds and one extra sofa convertible to bed. Breakfast was extensive. We did not use the pool or fitness center as we were sightseeing DC. Travel time to National Mall area is about 25 min (may have traffic on weekdays). Staff was very courteous and entire room was cleaned spotless everyday. In short, services of 3-4 star hotels were offered at very reasonable price. We will stay there again!

If you are stingy like me do no spend money in dining in DC. Save money on parking well. We took heavy breakfasts in the morning at hotel, just snack in DC and diner at some of the restaurants on Pickwick rd area just across the Lee highway. There is wide choice available at reasonable price.

The station to catch the Metro is only a 10 min. drive from the hotel. You can park there for free on the weekends. The Metro only cost $7.50 for an all day pass. Best value for getting around the D.C. area.

Wow what a great hotel for the price. Excellent loaction from D.C. Plus right across from the hotel are three nice ... resturants so when you get back from a long day at D.C. like we did you can get a great meal and not have to drive far for the hotel. The staff was great, the counter person was extremly helpful in helping us with the Metro. They had all the information you could ever want about D.C. Also they have the best continental breakfast I have ever had(Been travling for 14 plus years). Would diffently recomand to a friend.

Friendly staff, bad internet connection
Netmom Sep 5, 2009
The staff was courteous and very helpful. Questions regarding dining in the area and travel into and around DC were expertly ... answered. The hotel also had pamphlets geared for their guests at the ready for these needs. The location is a short drive to the Metro. We used this in and out of DC. One problem we had was with our wired internet connection in our room (wireless only available in the lobby). The wired internet connection worked intermittently. We called the provider, which was a waste of time. They were clueless. We asked for help from the hotel staff. They at least tried. Tech support came with a new cable, which didn't help. They rebooted their switch which didn't help. We were offered another room. Unfortunately, we were about to be out for the day and didn't have time to pack up our things. We were scheduled to leave the next morning, so we didn't change rooms. Luckily, as a backup, there is wireless in the lobby. Bottom line... if you need internet in your room, verify that it works early on and be prepared to change rooms if this is something you must have.

Weekend in Chantilly
Rudy Aug 24, 2009
The suite was appointed with ammenities of rooms at twice the price. Full sitting room with a ceiling fan, couch, desk, TV ... and wetbar with microwave oven and frig. The bathroom was sized and equipped like a high level hotel. The free hot breakfast included make your own waffles plus an additional hot tray. This stay was just SUPER!

Great Strip plaza shopping with lots of ethnic eateries immediately across the main street from the hotel. The drive to the orange metro line is also fairly short (5 miles) and easy to do as a first timer.

We stayed there to be close to the Nissan pavilion. So it was close to that not too close to DC but easy to get there if ... there are no accidents on Rt 66. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. The free breakfast was crowded on sunday but they had plenty of food so just get there earlier than 9 if you want a seat.

We couldn't believe it took us 2 hours to go 11 miles to the Nissan Pavilion!! It was a nightmare, so leave many hours before the show and take a good book! It was a very poorly run venue and I will be commenting on their website!!
