Nice Place - Customer Service Lacked

Rooms and location were great, even a complimentary bottle of water. But our lasting impression was the response we got ... regarding the toilet not flushing as discovered when we woke up the next day to check out. They blamed it on low water pressure. Not really interested in accomodating other than sending maintenance over as we checked out.

Easy access to freeway, but sufficiently far away to be nice and quiet. Older hotel that has been remodeled. Rooms aren't ... fancy, but they are large and comfortable. Friendly staff.

The Ventura Marina with shopping and food and entertainment is only a short drive from the hotel. Some could even walk if that is your thing. Cute shops and food at many price ranges. Relaxing area with the harbor views and musicians playing in the eateries.

Four Points only desrves two!

Because of a convention the restaurant was closed for guests and everyone had to eat in what felt like the lobby. The ... internet services were also located in the same area and were noisey. The mini frig. did not work and the air conditioning was minimal. Supplies in the bathroom were short and more toilet paper had to be requested. This is not a full scale hotel but little better than a motel.

Our stay was nice and peaceful and quiet...just what we were looking for. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we ... needed, very clean and comfy, easy to get to from the parking lot. We really enjoyed our stay and were surprised at the amount of choices on the room service menu. We would definitely stay here again.

Even though this hotel is old the rooms were nicely remodeled, had comfortable beds and pillows and very clean . The lobby ... however, was cave-like with its stone floor and low ceiling. Dated and not tasteful in my opinion. Not there long enough to try the pool or restaurant.

The Four Points Sheraton at Ventura Harbor is a great hotel. The front desk staff were welcoming & friendly. Our room was ... very large, clean & comfortable, with big soft beds, a lovely balcony, and a well-appointed bathroom. We enjoyed using the hotel pool, which was stocked with towels and plenty of deck chairs & lounges. We also found the restaurant within the hotel to be excellent - well-priced with good food. The hotel location at the harbor is convenient...we took a lovely after-breakfast walk around the harbor and we were just a few minutes' driving distance from downtown Ventura and the Ventura pier. I definitely would recommend this hotel for people interested in a weekend-getaway from L.A. or for those coming from longer distances.

The Four Points Sheraton is just what you'd expect for the price, but that's not a bad thing. It's walking distance from most ... places, and despite having the room over the dumpster, I was pleased. The only thing I'd caution against would be the restaurant downstairs, Alexanders, which was empty and had a waiter that I'm not sure had ever showered.

The Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor provided a comfortable, clean, and convenient stay for my weekend getaway from ... L.A. The location was convenient to visit both Santa Barbara and dowtown Ventura. Also, day boat trips to the Channel islands left from right down the road. Parking was free. The room was large and had an ok harbor view ( about half harbor and half parking lot). Nice heated pool and covered jacuzzi. overall nice stay.
