The room was very comfortable. I liked the extra room and wet bar that was part of the suite. Drink prices in the wet bar ... were actually reasonable. Great location - short walk to Newbury and Boyleston Streets.

greatgirlfriend Aug 24, 2009
The hotel was in a great spot for shopping on Newbury Street (a mere block away) and a short 10 minute walk to Fenway. Our ... room (409) was very quiet and restful, especially with the black-out drapery closed to block out the light. The room was decent, but a bit on the small size. The bathroom was large and made almost entirely of marble and tile. Carpet could use updating, but that is really the only complaint. I would stay here again, and recommend to others.

we walked to Fanuel hall and the North End which was easy and took around 35 to 45 minutes . We are in good shape and it is ... our habit to walk considerable distances in cities we are visiting . For people with our travel habits the hotel is perfect.

A small elegant hotel that is full of old world charm...the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and it is a short walk ... to the fun shops and cafes of Newbury Street. The Museum of Fine Arts is a nice walk but also an easy commute on the subway. Highly recommend it to many friends and family.

My review of The Eliot Hotel
Robin Dec 12, 2007
The only criticism I have of the hotel is that there was no concierge service. The front office staff was friendly but ... totally uniformed about restaurants, shopping, hair salons, etc., in the area.
Traveler type: Family
Just around the corner from Newbury Street; wonderful location.
