Great location if headed to Gainesville

We got last minute tickets to a football game, so finding a place in Gainesville wasn't possible. This was a good ... alternative. Right off the interstate, less than 15 minutes away. Only real issue with the room was that the knob was missing on the thermostat so adjusting the temperature was difficult, but it still worked. Not a bad place.

The hotel is in a great location in Alachua. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice and ... clean.The housekeepers and front desk staff were both friendly and very helpful. The pool was very nice and it was not noisy here.I had a great rest. The Alachua car rental lady said that this was the very best hotel in Alachua.She said this hotel is the only one she recommends to her customers. She said that the other hotel located near a bar was where the "crack addicts" did their thing.

It took me less than a 5 minute drive to get to the restaurants and grocery stores.
