There for wedding and one night stay. Function room and staff were great. Food served fast and hot. All good. Rooms nicely ... upgraded with new linens, towels shower head and soaps. All very nice for HI

I had an appointment in Fargo on a Friday and we decided to make a small family trip out of it and stay somewhere Friday ... night and return Saturday. We wanted to find a place with a good pool that our daughters (2yrs and 5yrs) would enjoy. We chose the Holiday Inn and weren't disappointed. The kids absolutely LOVED the pool area. Although there were plenty of other kids in the pool, it didn't seem too crowded, and even though our kids are generally reserved, it didn't take long before they were going up and down the slides on their own. If you're looking for a place to stay where the kids will have fun in the pool, you can't go wrong here. The only minor disappointing thing was that there is no continental breakfast, although there is a restaurant in the building that we did not go to.

We drove to the Wahpeton zoo (about an hour drive to the south) on Saturday morning and had a good time.

We had a great time at the Holiday Inn Fargo. My only concern was the amount of broken glass in the parking lot. It was ... vehicle window glass NOT alcohol bottles (and in two seperate and distant locations). When I asked where the safest place to park was I was told that there was 24 Hr security roaming the parking lots and it was safe. I took everything out of the vehicle anyways just to be sure. But other than that concern everything else was amazing. (and our car did not get broken into!!)

Didn't get the room we reserved

The Fargo Holiday Inn did not provide the room that I reserved on Orbitz. I reserved two double beds, and was given a king. ... My wife and I were traveling with our kids for a marathon and needed two beds. At check-in the receptionist stated, they "provide rooms you reserved if it is still available. It doesn't matter what you reserved on Orbitz. You should have called us directly." She then tried to get me to pay $10 per night for a roll-away bed. The lobby and front desk was very loud because of the band playing in the adjacent lounge. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

Not at all what I expected

I was very surprised that this hotel looked like something out of a ghost story. Hallways where dim and dark, a little scary ... I did not fill safe here. Rooms were ok but expected more for my money. I would not recomend this one to my friends or family.

Everything was very enjoyable, have stayed here many times. Only thing I sugguest would be to move the privacy wall that is ... by the ping pong tables, need more viewable seating around the pool. Many parents did not have any place to sit & watch their children.

The Holiday Inn - Fargo was very comfortable and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. The pool with slides was ... alot of fun and it was nice that their was ping pong, pool and air hockey to play also. We were very close to several restaurants and stores. The room was very clean and neat and I really loved all of the extra pillows!

There is a mall one block away and also Sam's Club, Wal-mart and a Scheel's store that you won't want to miss within 6-8 blocks.
