We have never stayed here before, but our friends that we were with have been here twice already. My family went to ... Disneyland on Friday and Saturday. Supper at Buca on Saturday was convenient especially for a big family. We had 4 adults and 6 kids. There was a small fire in the lobby planters around 4am so we had to evacuate the entire hotel. Our family had to walk down 11 flight of stairs, and I was carrying my one year old. Came back in an hour later and check out as soon as possible. It was our last night and we did not sleep very well on top of the scary wake up call. Not too fond of down pillows. The other family we were with said they compensated the guest by extending the breakfast time, but we already left as soon as possible. I would probably stay at Embassy suites again but would request the lower floors, just in case.

Eat a big (free) breakfast and skip lunch. Save leftover breakfast for snacks in the refrigerator. There is plenty of fruit, yogurt, juice, etc. that you can take to your room. If you are going to Disneyland, come back to the hotel in the afternoon, have a snack, a dip in the pool and a nap. Then return to the park in the evening refreshed.

Take advantage of the breakfast, especially if you a traveling with children, it was very good to be able to just go down the elevator to the breakfast area. It helped save both time and money.

Take advantage of the breakfast that is included with the stay. Cook to order omletes along with scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, toast, english muffins, fruit, bacon, sausage, juices, milk, coffee, cereals, and more!

Loved it!
Superstace Jun 1, 2009
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, big room, breakfast was awesome! Traveling with my 10 year old niece on her first trip to ... Disneyland. I don't think the Disney hotels measure up to the experience we had at Embassy Suites. The shuttles were on time and friendly. My niece loved the lion in the lobby and the pool most of all. I loved the breakfast, great service and the very clean and big rooms. My daughter and her boyfriend loved the manager's reception with the free drinks! The only disappointment was the $10 a day internet fee and the $6 a day parking fee. I think overall it was a good value for a family as long as you take advantage of the breakfast. We even saved some fruit and yogurt from breakfast in the room refrigerator to have for a snack later in the day.

Great place

I traveled with my dauther, son in-law and their 3 children ranging in age from 18 months to 8 years old for a weekend trip ... to Disneyland. I was great to have a separate room that the oldest grand child and I shared. There is a shuttle service that runs every 20 minutes from the hotel to Disneyland and makes return trips to the hotel until 30 minutes after park closing. It was definite plus to the value of the stay, to have a cooked to order breakfast as part of the room price. There was plenty of variety of foods availble from cooked to order omelettes to cold cereal and fruit. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and neat. Overall, I'd say that traveling with 2 more adults and 3 young children was made much more enjoyable and comfortable by staying at this location.

Stay includes breakfast
Shara Apr 22, 2009
We took our 22 month old daughter to Disneyland for her first time. We had a great stay. Our daughter actually liked the ... mechanical lion on the mountain in the atrium better than Mickey Mouse! She still talks about it. We were very pleased with our stay. However...I wasn't told that we had to pay for parking. I want to be aware of all charges up front. And there aren't enough elevators for the amount of rooms they have. Had to wait 15 minutes for it during free breakfast. BUT it wouldn't keep us from staying there again. We bought a pass for the ART buses and all went great for getting to and from Disneyland. PLUS, bed was very comfortable. 5 star stay!

The best place in Anaheim!
earwigsmom Mar 3, 2009
we have stayed here several times, and always enjoy it. The rooms are nice, and large enough for a family (with separate ... rooms for kids & parents). We love the hassle-free breakfast and the happy hour is a nice un-wind at the end of the day. It has the trolley that picks up for Disney just outside also. It is a little more money than some places, but then again, you have more room, breakfast, happy hour, and a truely nice ambiance to compensate. And it was cheaper than renting 2 rooms at another hotel! The next time we go to visit Mickey, we'll stay here again!

Skip the lines at Disney in the morning & buy your admission tickets either online, in the hotel lobby, or even at Safeway! You can get single or hopper tickets (but if you want the free birthday admission, you just have to go stand in line...!)

Great option for Disney families

We travelled with our 2-year old and 6-month old to go to Disneyland for 3 days. The staff at this hotel were always friendly ... and helpful. We were allowed to check in early at about 12:30pm. We booked the larger suite to have room for a crib and hideaway fold-out, plus parking for our stroller. We had great views on the 10th floor, and our room was at the very end of the hall with only one neighbor. The room was great. The crib was a pak-n-play knock-off and we put the couch cushions inside to make it comfortable for our baby. The breakfast is excellent and very efficient- two separate lines plus a line for made-to-order omelets. The atrium is great and not noisy. Our 2-year old loved the koi and turtles. We had room service one night and it was fast and warm with good-tasting, albeit greasy, food at a slight premium but not exorbitant. Our only frustration came with the Anaheim Resort Transit bus that shuttles to Disneyland (no fault of the hotel). It was supposed to come 3 times/hour but only seemed to make it 2 times and never on-time or even close but we still made it to the happiest place on earth and had a great time. We used Super Shuttle to and from John Wayne at the recommendation of the hotel, and had great service from the blue van. We would stay here again for the price ($160/night), good room and top-notch service.

Good for the money
Stacey Sep 10, 2008
The two room suite was nice to have. The free breakfast and evening drinks were a great bonus. Check in was quick. A ... couple negatives: too far to walk to Disney and you have to pay for the shuttle which was very late the morning we went. we asked the front desk for a taxi one evening and I think they have a personal guy they use who overcharged us ( it was way more when he took us than it cost in a regular taxi to get back). Also, I like hotels that don't charge for internet service. But overall we were satisfied with this hotel.

Embassy Suites Anaheim was very comfortable and roomy. Traveling with two kids, we need extra space for them to roam and a ... quick getaway for the adults; thus, the additional living room was the reason why we selected Embassy Suites. Extras such as the sink, microwave, fridge, iron, and blow dryer were greatly appreciated. There were two televisions (bedroom and living room) so we didn't have to fight for the remote control. Breakfast was grand. We have so much options from cereal to preorder omletes.
