Best time in NYC
Melz Sep 19, 2009
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would return any day! Was so central to everything and easy to catch public transport ... if required. Loved the complimentry wireless Internet and also they provide computers. Complimentry laundry detergent for clothes washing which they have a guest laundry. Staff were very friendly and house keeping did their jobs well! Didn't check out the fitness room as we ran out of time but loved the idea of it being 24 hours!! Was definitely worth the trip!

As I've only been able to select one I chose shopping because the hotel is on 3rd and the fashions on 5th. But I would choose everything on this list as great reasons to being at that hotel.

This hotel and I think all the rest as well do not have parking that is free. I was suprize by a rather large parking bill to pay for just two days. I was not advised of this when confirming my reservation with the hotel. You should ask you hotel so you can plan ahead.

New To New York
Dan the kitchen man Aug 12, 2009
We did the regular tourist rounds; Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Ground zero, Impire State Building, Time Square, Central ... Park, Central Station and the Chrysler Building. More time would have made the trip better. There is so much to see and the best way to see it is by walking. Leave your self a lot of time. If your not from the city, park your car, don't drive. It is nerve racking. Take the subway for longer distances or walk. The cabby's are crazy, we took one I know, I didn't think we'd live. Great food everywhere you turn. I guess with all the walking they can enjoy all the good food.

Had a great stay
tripletmom Aug 11, 2009
I stayed for two nights with three children. We had a very nice stay. The location was good, central, with good services ... nearby. Their buffet breakfast in the morning was fabulous - great selection, made-to-order omelettes and waffles and a nice selection of other items. There is a coin-operated washer/dryer available with free supplies (Tide, Bounce) downstairs at the front desk. We noticed there was room service, but it came from the Outback Steakhouse about five blocks away, so we decided to just walk there and had a nice dinner. There's also a Starbucks for coffee right there on the block and an ATM just outside the door to the right. We used the concierge services to get seats for a play and they found us excellent seats. We walked to Central Park and it was a reasonable walk for six-year-olds. Our A/C wouldn't turn off though - so it got a little cold in the room. Just put a towel over the vent and that helped.

Girls Weekend
Southern Mom Jul 3, 2009
The location was perfect (located very close to the metro). The staff overall were helpful in giving directions and metro ... stops. We had an issue upon checking in, the staff said that our payment for our room was denied, when I had already received the bill stating the orbitz reservation, she then double checked and the hotel was awaiting payment from orbitz and not me. Due to flight issues we had to add on an extra night, when I called the hotel to reserve another night the staff seemed helpful and I was told that my card would be charged automatically, again upon arrival I had to explain this only to find out that I was "misinformed". However the next day I received a call that there were fraudulent charges on my credit card account. Hmmm!

Was on my way to new york to see my daughter, we arrive at the hotel 2 hours early one of the clerks informed it was to early ... to check in which was cool. But the bad part about was she lied and said the room wasnt ready where as another clerk informed me that it was ready. Broadway Getaway
Dingus McFly May 26, 2009
Went to NYC for Broadway Show. Easy access from hotel to subway, walking distance to UN Building and nice park/view at the ... E. River. Walking distance to many restaurants/pubs/shops. Drug Store next door. Staff friendly and helpful with one exception. Most New Yorkers are very friendly (contrary to popular belief). Free coffee, on site breakfast restaurant. Hotel lacks lobby lounge area, although there is a business lounge on the 12th floor.
