Just Fine
Affordable Place with Kitchen Oct 27, 2009
Provided breakfast is at the low end of motel breakfasts. No hot items except self cook waffles. Kitchenette was very nice ... with stone countertops, full size fridge and oven & nice cabinets with brushed stainless handles. Cleanliness was good and it smelled OK (no chemical smell of cheap disinfectants). Bed was too firm for me, but not horrible Parking is tight in underground lot. I would NOT want to park a truck or SUV in this place. It's about what you would expect from an affordable motel.

Very convenient to SFO Airport

We stayed at this hotel for one night at the end of a California vacation. We wanted something close to the airport because ... we had to catch an early flight. This hotel was clean, very close to SFO, check in was quick and hassle free, and the rates were reasonable.

There is a pizza place nearby that delivers until 2 a.m. We arrived at the hotel late, and were starving from a long day of walking Fisherman's Wharf. It was a relief to not have to drive anywhere for dinner, and the pizza was quick and delicious.

Comfort Inn & Suites Airport West, MILLBRAE, CA was very clean, newly renovated, and great place to stay. Although it was not ... good location to have fun, I would say the hotel provide a great room to sleep. I would recommend this hotel to business person, especially who travels around by car. Airport was very close and easy access to high way 101, to San Francisco city area and San Jose area. I will stay this hotel again soon.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you needed to stay near the airport or had a meeting in the area. The rooms were fine, ... but the neighborhood was not someplace you'd want to spend any time in. Also, the price is only acceptable because of its airport access.

Convenient to Airport

The hotel was very convenient from SFO airport, but parking was limited. I think the hotel must rent parking spaces to local ... business people because I arrived at 12 noon on a Thursday, and there were no spaces available. The room was very nice with a full kitchen and plenty of space. The mattress was older and needed to be replaced because my back hurt in the morning. The area around the hotel was mostly business so dining choices were very limited within walking distance. The front desk staff was very courteous, and was able to let me in my room two hours before regular check-in time. The cleaning staff was just finishing up as we got to the room. The inside courtyard was lovely, and the rose bushes were in full bloom and exceptionally beautiful. I would recommend this hotel, especially for business travel because of its location. A good value for the money. Just do something about the parking.
