Wasn't the greatest...

During check in we got our room key and found out that the room given to us was still occupied, which was awkward for all ... parties. The hotel staff was polite and gave us a new room which smelled funny and had noisy air cond. Every thing was clean but the rooms definitely needed an upgrade. The price was very steep considering what your got at this place. We paid about $100 to stay there when we found out that others had paid $70. I should of paid an extra twenty and stayed at the best western down the street! I'd pay about $50 at the most to stay there, otherwise I'd go somewhere else.

Nice area but no hot water
matt Sep 8, 2009
The area is nice, but the staff the blonde female at the front desk was very unfriendly, We checked in and the next day there ... was no hot water to take a shower. When I called she was irritated that I was even asking. Then when I checked out I assumed there would be some sort of apology but none was given. Wouldn't stay their again.

Almost Perfect
DJ Jul 19, 2009
We wanted a room within walking distance to the beach and convenient for visiting family that lived in the area. Both of ... those things were perfect! The beach was easily accessible within a short walk. And it was wonderful. The only complaint we had was the carpet in the room was filthy! We couldn't walk on it without socks or shoes. They gave us a small discount on the room as a result of our complaint. Otherwise, it was a good average place to stay...we wanted something in a lower price range, but decent and that's what we got. I would recommend this hotel, just make sure they've cleaned the carpets recently before you go.

Clyde Jul 3, 2009
Great location, right next to a Denny's, easy access to the 5 Freeway, parked close to room. The best part was a clean room ... that really honored the titled NO SMOKING. Other features were a coffee pot, and small microwave. It was a great value (e.g., clean room, good place to sleep for the price as compared to other hotels in the area). Late check-in was honored.
