Weird hotel but convenient

We needed a hotel close to LGA to catch an early flight with less hurry and also save money while not staying one night in ... the city. This hotel was great for that. The room was OK but the bathrrom was tiny. It still worked fine for us. The building is on a small incline and the halls to the rooms are very long and downhill which gave it a "motel" feel. The shuttle and included breakfast were great.

The fitness room was lacking and the rooms were really small. It didn't look anything like the pictures. The hotel was really ... noisy so it was hard to fall asleep. The staff was friendly though. There weren't any restaurants within walking distance so I had to order in. This hotel is only good if you are only staying for a night or two.

Hotel was being renovated, so lots of construction work and noise starts early. The only room where minimal internet ... connection was available was on the first floor, right where the construction was. A few decent restaurants nearby. Very busy area.

Hotel is near Laguardia and did not see anything else of interest in area. Hall rugs looked dirty. Room was small. tv first ... could not be turned on. Desk sent up repair who fixed remote(new batteries. However I particularly wanted to watch football game on NBC and could not believe could not get that network. Called desk and he said NBC was Ch4. Ch 4 said NBC but was a station giving information on Dish tv, how to use special things you could get, etc. and NBC was not shown on any of channels. I spoke to several people and they all seemed unaware you could not get NBC and unconcerned.

Great value hotel for the money. Convenient to public transportation, quick airport shuttle, great breakfast buffet included ... in price. Small rooms (but that's what you get in NYC area), clean enough, tiny bathroom.

I attended a wedding. I flew to La Guardia and spent the night in the room. The room was small and not well lighted. The ... drainage in the bathtub was clogged as is common in inexpensive hotels. However, for an overnight stay spending little to no time in the room, it was satisfactory.

We desired a hotel with an airport shuttle service and was reasonably priced. All four of us adults are retired, although ... physically fit and not requiring any special help. We received dining suggestions that were very good and correct. Help in securing our travel to dwontown New York for our tour was excellent. The attititude of helping us by the employees was really great and they were most friendly and nice. That sure made out stay in the Big Apple a positive experience. Yes we would use this hotel again if the occasion should arise and will not hesitate to recommend it to our friends ande associates.

Make sure if you are going to get on the bus to get to the subway station you have $2.25 worth of quarters per person. We tried to pay with dollar bills but they wouldn't except it. We bought a Metro pass for the number of trips we thought we would take but it ended up where we overpaid because transfers were free from the bus to the subway.

Ruby Foos is soo good, the freshest food. Its quite a distance but worth trip (Broadway & 49th- Time Square). The shopping was really good in that area a little more south of Ruby's, but lots of sales. Century 21 was too far to get to in time available.
